🎨 WATERCOLORS BY AMIT KAPOOR 🎨
In this episode of Painting Masters I'll present paintings by Amit Kapoor, a skillful Indian watercolor painter.
He is also a director of the IWS global (International Watercolor Society), as well as the president of the IWS India.
His style is among my favorite common kinds of impressionism, but with a very personal stylization.
I hope you enjoy this one!

Amit is the MASTER!! I just attended a three day workshop in person and what a great artist he is (and art instructor)! I cannot find words to describe his unique way to engage, see and interpret what is around him through colours, with watercolours. "The magic happens" is so true and they are his words. Thank you Liron for sharing with us Amit's artwork and your analysis. Also, have you considered to create another video-document about Amit's recent work? It could be amazing again...
Thank you! ☺️🙏🏼 I have so many artists on my “to cover” list, but perhaps in the future I’ll do some part 2s 😁
These videos are good because are relatively short, commentary, introspection, subtle critique & showcasing various Artists - styles.
Thanks Liron.
His paintings reminds me of Joseph zbukvic.... That smoke and very small details in same painting... I'll say a brighter version of Joseph's work...
The street scene at 11:17 looks like one of your works Liron.
I adore this mans work. There's a lot of quality talent coming out of India.
Thank you Liron, I love your series of painting masters! Amrit Kapoor's work is stunning.
Always enjoy your painting masters Thanks again
Wow. This was so eye opening to see but for me the real value, as someone who is very new to watercolor, is how you unpacked some of the complexity and highlighted parts of each work. I love these painting and I truly value your approach here.
I also like Amit Sir’s painting which have wide views. Indian many talents in arts, Prafull Sawant, Praween Karmaker, Jasvir Ram…
Might I add you are also genius .. Thank you for all of your videos..
Another interesting and informative video in the Masters series, Liron. I love the way that so many of his paintings incorporate the extremes both of looseness and also of tight clarity to separate the various planes of the painting. Thanks for putting this one together for us all to enjoy - best wishes, Brian.
I saw him on a RUclips video and when he begins you can think, what will that be? And then later on it thurns out so beautifull...thank you for your comment. Nadine
Another great video from a master painter!!
thank you for these critiques. They are most helpful.
Another awesome masters episode Liron, Thank you. Joe Dowden is an incredible watercolorist & worth considering. 😎👍
Fantastic video as always! You should do one on Andrew Wyeth's watercolors.
Thanks for the introduction to Amit's work - LOVE it!
The first example you showed is in fact a painting of İstanbul, Turkey and it's a fantastic artwork.
Awesome Artist Spotlight. His work is crazy inspiring!
#LifeGoals
10:13 is not a Paris man. It is Prague! The bridge is the Charles bridge with the statues on it. It is a nice picture because the place is magical :)
Lovely breakdown of the painting process! I sincerely believe these episodes are a great benefit for learning. I would love you to focus on Igor Sava (unless you already have) His sensitivity with his brushwork is a joy to watch. Regards Gary
You do such awesome artist spotlight segments, thanks for introducing me to more beautiful artwork 😺
These paintings are lovely. I’m wondering whether you are familiar with the work of Dong Kingman, the Chinese-American watercolorist. He died some time ago, 2000, I think, but looking at this artist’s work made me think of Kingman. Thank you for this commentary.
❤
Liron, tons of thanks for showing the artwork of Amit. His paintings are awesome.
The best thing I liked about this video is... an artist appreciating artwork of another artist... is really praiseworthy. That should be the spirit. Keep it up.
Thanks Liron! I love these paintings. I’ve become a fan now too. I would love to hear you review Javid Tabatabaei. I love his work and he has a similar style to Amit Kapoor.
Thanks Liron, I think I have seen his work, and maybe an online demo as well. I looked, this is not the person with the patent on the black paint. :-)
Please do one on Boonkwang Noncharoen of Thailand, focusing on his watercolour portraits!
Thank you very much..... I have a request Sir... Please post a overview of " Eternal Strokes " painting book or all works done by master artist late John Fernandes... 😊
Lol and the last one is not Paris, it is Prague again. The tower there is not Eifel tower. It is accurate because it stands on the Petřín hill, so it goes really up and up and there on the top is the Petřín lookot tower (it is very similar to Eiffel twr but smaller)
Haha and I’ve been to both 3 (!!) times each 😂 Should have known
You should review Prafull Sawant. He is amazing
On my list 😉 Thank you!
There is one more Artist by the name Ganesh Hire, you should look into him too..
Really thanks my dear friend for explaining my paintings. Today first time I saw your video
Sir u,😶
Thanks Liron for introducing us to the best in our field. Another Indian artist I would like you to review is Prafull Sawant. Check out this Japanese artist Suisga. Amazing simplification of the subject. Love your vids. Never miss one!
You are doing excellent art charity for people like me...could you directly interview them pleaase
cool! I would like to paint like that))
Thank you
Please review master Prafull Sawant
He’s on my short list! I’ll review him soon (:
What do you call this description of some others work?
I’m surprised you and your ego can fit in the same room !
