We have so many similarities and it has given me so much hope. From NJ, grew up in a Caribbean household. I graduated with a BS in Biology in 2022. An undergrad cGPA of 3.08, CASPA calculated my sGPA at 2.99. Just graduated recently with a master’s in health administration w/ a 3.89 GPA. Looking at post-baccalaureate programs now to retake some pre-req courses and take some I didn’t in undergrad. I realized I wanted to be a PA in my last semester of undergrad. I’ve worked as a MA in urgent care and a LNA in a long term care facility totaling approx. 1400 hours. I am planning to give it my all this next year and apply next cycle. This was really encouraging. Thank you and I can’t wait to be there. 🥹

Im applying to PA school this cycle. My undergrad gpa is 3.1 and my caspa cum is 2.84 but i did well in many other areas. Do i have a chance getting in without having to do a post-bac or masters?

I mean, there’s always a chance but that 2.84 is going to be a disadvantage. Be sure to apply to schools that take them more holistic look at the applicants.
