When people first come out it can sometimes be difficult to automatically use the correct pronouns for themself. Because for the entire life of that person they been called different pronouns so they aren't quite used to the switch immediately. I'm a trans guy and when I first came put my brain wasn't used to my name and pronouns yet caused even though it is who I am other people didn't know that so they were calling me she pronouns and it took a long while for my brain to fully adjust to the change that I could finally use the correct pronouns when referring to myself without fear of outing myself.
