She is not using elastic. She’s using bias tape or bias binding. This type of tape is cut on the diagonal, so it stretches a bit, but it is NOT elastic.
Lovely! Only it would be easier to show it on plain fabric to see the markings, then maybe show its look also on patterned fabric in the end (this applies to many other videos), thanks
I love that look!! It seems it is simple and putting the trim on there makes it so awesome. I am 80 and I would wear that in the summer, especially in Florida.

Thank you for clarifying. I pulled the video in close and I thought that's odd it's satin elastic . I had never seen any.
