Buy yourself a "Portable Buddy" propane heater 🎉! They're about 70 dollars at Wally-world!❤ Won't have to 🥶 freeze to death whilst inside of that V-Dub Bus!
Sometimes you too remind me of when my x/husband and I would go camping and we would sleep in the back of the truck. We met a couple who had a baby and they took their cat camping. Lol So another trip, we took our car and he loved it.
I am so pleased that it’s not just me who speaks to my ‘79 VW bus! 😂 I thank molly every journey for driving so perfectly and I always give her motivating words before I turn the key 😂😂😂
I love your videos, make me wish I could travel up there. I live in Kentucky we do have pretty fall trees in the fall but nothing like what you all have. You two seem like a perfect match. Keep up the videos, they are so relaxing to watch.
I so relate! I make RUclips videos in a similar spirit as you and after over a year of traveling full time I just bought my first little home that I’m completely renovating (while racing the winter weather) - we have no heat yet and it’s been getting down below freezing at night 😅 but it’s all part of why I chose this adventure! Thank you for sharing your beautiful stories with us! Sending love from my little corner of the world to yours ❤
I was feeling really low today look to see what could watch on you tube and there you were.. Looking a bit like a red Indian with you axe 🤣you two do my heart good GOD BLESS, AND HOPE YOU ARE HAVING A BRILLIANT DAY SENDING MUCH LOVE FROM ACROSS THE POND WERE WE ARE STILL IN FULL GLORIOUS AUTUNM... IN SOUTH DEVON 👌💋💕🍁🌿
We all break down and you rescued yourselves quite well. The countryside looked beautiful. The forests dense and in new color of bark and summer growth branches. Very emotional visit to New England for me. Stay safe, stay warm. 🌙🦉
Love the intro, and how the cabin lights up in the darkness was really breathtaking! Yay, the bus pulled through 👍😀 I wonder if it’s the cold that’s triggering the hard start ups i used to have a car like that whenever it got below 30 it was a hard start the next morning.
Loved this - especially the shot of the leaves in the water at 3:55. Gorgeous. The deadpan hot dog dialogue made me laugh; hilarious and unexpected. Thanks for sharing your cool camping adventure with us. That Anker device looks useful. I'm going to give it a look.
You are creating some wonderful memories ! I love how you take your twinkly lights with you on your trips ! That oatmeal looked so good ! Much love from California ! 💕🌷
Thank you for taking us with you on your beautiful journeys . Love hearing you sing Kyle . You and Ali are a special couple and compliment each other so well . 💕🙏🇨🇦🍁
Loved the vibe of this week's video, Ally. Nature is stunning in her autumnal splendor (as she is in every season)! But the brightest colors you captured here are of two lovely people out adventuring and exploring together, creating ease and fun in the cold & frosty outdoors. The truest warmth is love. - Lee
You should really have an enclosed awning set up, to give you extra outdoor enclosed space but more importantly somewhere where you can have a portable wood burner set up
I LOVE your and Kyle’s videos. They are the exact brain break I need each day. My heart craves to be in nature and the Forrest the way you guys do. A very practical question… do you guys fear for ticks and Lymes? They have me PARANOID to be in the woods and wilds here in the northeast (I’m in the Finger Lakes of NY state). It’s a very sad thing for me to be so afraid of ticks and Lymes to the point it keeps me from this very cherished part of living and what I’ve always loved.
Old Army Ranger trick to keep the ticks , fleas, other pesky insects away from you that typically latch on to your boots and bottoms of your pants legs or loose clothing so what we used to do in the field while training and or on deployment was to buy some flea and tick collars for pets put them around the footwear on the outside on each shoe/boot loop end without bucke part through laces hole with string pull all way thru then in thru other loop hole on other side wrap around ankle basically like you would a belt so if it does come loose its still ran thru boot lace holes and won't necessarily come off your boot or shoe. That should keep them off you for the most part.
Another thing we used to do was take sulfur tablets or ends of matches or match sticks just the ends cut them off and consume them like you would a vitamin or pill with some water. As your body sweats the sulfur will literally come back out through your pores as you sweat and mosquitoes knats sweat flies sweat bees etc hate that. Those 2 things kept us from gettin eaten alive while out in the field.
One more thing. Just read about you and your channel and wanted to say outstanding for you your husband and your family. All of you are very very fortunate and lucky to have each other. Not as many out there anymore honoring God marriage and family as there used to be. I'm raising my 4 grandchildren by myself down in Ohio. It's a difficult challenging struggle and I don't have quite the home life work life balance that I'd like with cost of living inflation the economy and the fact I'm the only income we have. It's hard. Very hard. But the 5 of us are making it best we can and I'm doing the best that I can by myself for us all. And that's really all I can hope for in today's world right now. Anyway maybe I'll check in and look at some of your meal prep videos for healthier meal options and to help maybe manage my limited time more efficiently. Thanks God Bless and best wishes for you all.
@carenlissner454 that's certainly one way to look at it. And I do appreciate the kind words. You echo what most folks who know the kids and I and our story say. And I've always told everyone that I am just as lucky if not more so to have them. I just believe that maybe fate or destiny or whatever idk but something brought us all together when we all needed each other the most. They need me for different reasons than I do them. But nonetheless we need each other. They are my purpose now I guess you could say if that makes sense. Everyone I believe needs a purpose or a reason to just be. And they are mine. Lol. Thank you again for taking the time to kindly comment. It's appreciated.
I live in MA and love boondocking in my car. I’m too scared to try it in our state because I know it is illegal, but now you have me wanting to go for it! Was this in Chester near the falls?
Can you please tell me where I can find the glass coffee carafe you used in the beginning at the cabin? I have been searching online and cannot find one like it.
You guys made my day😊 while I’m on the bus with that good old singing it made me cracked a small😂😂🤎🤎

Thank you. For a few minutes, I'm young again.

Have you been to the Red River Gorge/Daniel Boone National Forest area?
If Kyle ever gives you his sourdough recipe I would love to know how. I’ve tried a few from different people and they never turn out.

I'm reading a book about VW Transporters these days. I wish I could collect them. My dad had a VW pickup for awhile.
I really enjoy the sensory overload of peak Fall but also past peak when there still vivid islands of color sprinkled among the spent trees.
