Spider-Man has a ton of actors, and while many of its stars are well known, the careers of many of them are a mystery. So to rectify that, I decided to make my way through the film and layout the juicy details.

Fun fact about Bruce Campbell. He was going to play Mysterio in the 4th film. All his appearances in the first 3 Spiderman films, are the same character Quentin Beck.

I thought Bruce said that was a myth.
Bruce said it was merely an internet rumor, however the sketch does resemble him a lot imo. So I wager it might be the storyboard artist drawing Beck like Bruce for fun.

Nice little fact is that Cliff Robertson's voice was briefly played in Into the Spider-Verse during a flashback sequence of Uncle Ben's death. It's his iconic quote of: "With great power comes great responsibility."
Heres something you might not have known. Bruce Campbell was also the guide/narrator in the Spiderman games. The second one is the most memorable because he has so many memorable lines like "tHeRs OnLy OnE aTtAcK bUtToN!".

I think Willem Dafoe lended his voice in over 6 games. Interestingly including the Finding Nemo tie-in games.
Awesome work on this first part! Spider-Man is one of my favorite movies, and this was interesting seeing what other movies/shows these actors have been in. Very well put together and can't wait for the other parts to come out.

The more the movies I see with Kirsten Dunst, the more I realize that I love her acting talent in everything besides Spider-Man. I mean, she's fine in the trilogy, but MJ definitely wasn't the best role out there.
My thinking as well. Mary Jane as a character was pretty wasted in the Raimi trilogy imo, she acted more like Gwen than MJ who has a lot more depth and personality in the source material. And given that Raimi was a fan of the older comics, it would've been neat if he adapted more of her characterization as well.

How could you skip over Octavia Spencer as the woman at the table where people sign up to fight? It's a small role, but man, she's so memorable in Spider-Man, and then she exploded in the late 2000s and she's great. She's played God in The Shack and then also an absolute madwoman and murderer in Ma, so yeah, she's got range. You gotta add her in Part 2.

I heard that Dafoe's "web shooter" was actually too big and that it would distract audiences. Either way, it's no surprise that Norman had all those graphic statues in his living room.
Actually there was a alternative Star Wars comic where Han Solo actually goes to earth and dies but then his remains are founded centuries later by Indiana Jones. Just wanna point that out and by the way love these videos I hope you continue them for other movies

Joe Manganiello hasn't had his fair chance at playing Deathstroke. With the Synder cut out he has a total of two scenes and maybe speaks once and doesn't get to do anything other than standing still and looking intimidating. I really hope in future DC films that use Deathstroke he'll get a chance to ACTUALLY play the character.
