Cool video, thank-you, I think it is really helpful the way you are doing in-depth coverage of professions to help people decide on the ones they want to have. Looking forward to the upcoming videos and the streams.
I think everyone still has engi on every raiding character from wotlk, it's still too good to drop it. So everyone will lvling it and selling their stuff which they crafted. I don't think there is much gold to make=/ Maybe farming the mats and sell them early on for big gold is key?
That always works pretty well, but even just getting a few points into engineering then selling bolts will usually work as well, people always seem to need to buy parts
I loved Cata for gold making, it had some amazing farms. I wish I never stopped playing Classic in TBC, so far behind now! hopefully I can one day catch up but I wish I was ready for Cata launch lol
You will catch up quickly for sure! I take really frequent breaks so I totally get where you are coming from, I always go back and wish I hadn't wasted all that time. Not to mention everything I have lost in the mail over the years, & no the mail restore has not worked for me once!
@@Seren-wow Ah I usually remember to check no auctions or mail before I take a break but I have missed once or twice lol. I just found your channel seems very informative and better yet...honest :)
In the Help section, under self service. It is supposed to recover mail that has expired but I've never had it work for me. I always try it though, ever the optimist!
I know this is not regarding your video here, but what professions would you suggest on a new realm? Already Got my mining/herb character but dont know about my alt 😊
Hey! So if you already have gathering sorted. I'd probably lean towards Alchemy & Jewel crafting. Alchemy is always great especially with low maintenance transmutes on alts. Then JC will go nicely with the mining. The other crafting professions are a bit more reliant on levelling and need chaos orbs (which are bop) for epics. Inscription will be huge for gold making at the start of P1, but to do DMF cards you will need a bunch of starter gold. If you are crafting small batches of cards you are too much victim of rng.
Also, if you have any gathering professions you can have a chance at Volatile Air while gathering. and there is a really good fishing lure that will be in high demand early :)
there's a big movement currently for blizzard to make fresh classic vanilla servers. i'm in a guild on NA with like 800 members on Horde with people in the fresh movement revitalising an old dead server. if fresh vanilla ever becomes a thing would you make goldmaking tutorials on it?
yeah its content for the sake of content.. everyone knows transmute master is god tier after inscription grinding early on... this is like peanuts by comparison
I already did Alchemy in fairness, but I wanted to cover Engineering as its a profession most people take for PVE/PVP and then kind of see it as a wasted slot for gold making. When you can actually utilise it. I maybe should have downplayed the thumbnail a bit though, I can totally accept. Something like "Engineering - Great for Mediocre Gold, if you don't want Alchemy"

Did I miss sth or it was just guns and scopes or parts for gold making?
