    For those wondering about or at least noticing Jonas' reaction in the winning interview; Danish media could report that not only does he know Annecy - how unlikely it might sound, his wife and child was actually *in* Annecy when the attack happened, and often frequent the very same play ground (although luckily not that particular day). He received the news about the attack from his wife shortly before this interview. That's a bit too close for comfort for anyone....

      @@jinnij.caiman To me the best part of the rivalry between Pogacar and Vingegaard is that both of them are fiercely competitive while at the same time being incredibly likeable. But regarding being a dictator: You don't get to be a team captain if you can't put the foot down and control your team. So to some degree both of them have to be a bit of a dictator. But at least when it comes to Vingegaard in last year's tour he did allow for his team mates to go for individual honors even to the point of slowing down at the end of the last time trial to allow Wout van Aert to get the victory.

      Btw what is that comment: "i hope you can do better when you take the bike?"😂 - its not like you could either. Vingegaard has also won plenty of races this season and i would say he has won more important races, he has won CDD which is the hardest 7/8 stage race and he has won Itzulia BC, he willingly chose not to race one day races cause he is training for the tour.
      In general it just seems like you are fanboying Pogacar for some reason idk what, i like Pogacar aswell but im just being honest by saying he just doesnt stand good for the tour this year, Vingegaard's vo2max has increased since last year and after the crash, pogacar has not been training for over a month which means he has missed quite a bit of what you would call "peak training" and probably lost some strength aswell. Sad truth but thats how it is, im not fanboying nobody im just being real.

      @@Sk1LLownzu Pogacar also beat Jonas at Tirreno Adriatico in 2022...

    • @AH-df3rc
      @AH-df3rc Год назад +1

      @@Sk1LLownzu the team said Jonas was only 80 % present in his head at Paris Nice because there were some issue's in the family. Jonas is a family person. So i don't think you should count on that as a main reason and again Paris Nice doesn't have many long climbs, which again is where Jonas is favourit the more tired the other become the better Jonas becomes. don't forget that Jonas beat Poga on the last TT in the tour aswell, and by far. Poga is definatly strong and world class but so is Vingegaard and he is definatly better this year in the smaller climbs too then he was last year. And in thouse stages Jonas only lost seconds but on the long climbs he gained minutes. So we are in for an interesting duel and true it can honestly go both way depending on who get the lead and who will be the one chasing the time on the other. but poga is not levels above Vingegaard no stats from last year to now says that beside the result in Paris Nice. They have meet once, once is definatly not enough since we neither know what shape Poga is in and its clear that Vingegaard is in much better shape now then he was at Paris Nice. But that is the part of cycling we all love we all have our favourits but at the end everything can happend at the TDF. So were you say Poga is better im more leaning towards the other side saying right now Vingegaard looks above level, but i can be wrong too, which we all will see when we watch the best duel of this century. Let the best Man win :D
