DIY Face Primer:
• Face primer helps to glide makeup on face smoothly and
blends it well
• Applying it on face after a moisturizer and before a foundation
creates a smooth base for our makeup to cling on
Aloe vera and almond oil primer:
Almond oil is a rich source of vitamin E that nourishes the skin.
1. Add 2-3 tbsp of distilled water in a small bowl
2. Now add 1 tbsp of fresh aloe vera gel
3. And add to this 1-2 drops of almond oil
4. Stir it well until it turns into a smooth gel
5. Apply it evenly on the face
6. Allow it to dry before applying your makeup
Aloe vera and arrowroot primer:
Aloe vera has excellent anti-allergic properties.
1. Take ¼ tsp organic cosmetic kaolin clay in a small
bowl
2. We add ¼ tsp of arrowroot powder in this
3. Now add 2-3 tsp fresh aloe vera gel
4. Mix this well, until it turns into a smooth paste
5. Apply a thin layer with a foundation brush for an even
application
6. Allow it to dry for 5-10 min before you start your makeup
Tips:
• It is important to perform a patch test to check for any possible
facial skin reactions when using these facial primers for the
first time

1 spoon of aleovera gel
1 spoon of glycerine
1 spoon of sunscreen

i can't say anything about kaolin clay, but arrowroot powder is super common in gluten free cooking. i have it on hand in my pantry-- its a good replacement for cornstarch or flour.. you could theoretically use corn starch as a decent replacement for this DIY actually, the idea of the powder in the primer is to fill in your pores so it shouldnt matter too much which kind
Aloe vera gel was actually work but only for short periode time. So i sugest you all to use :1. BEEWAX instead of aloe vera, Beewax actually will last a lot longer of time
2. 1 teaspoon of corn strach, it would make ur make up matt
3. 1 tsp of glyserin ( this was the key )

Thank you so much for the primer recipe. I switched over to non-toxic, all natural makeup products recently. I needed a primer to minimize my pores so I'm so glad to have found your video.
PLEASE READ this if you don't want to mess up the primer: USE 3 TEASPOONS of water, NOT 3 tablespoons. In the video, she uses 3 teaspoons, but accidentally says 3 tablespoons instead. IF you use 3 tablespoons, the mixture will be too watery since tablespoons are bigger than teaspoons. You can also use olive oil or coconut oil instead of almond oil.

Jojoba oil will work well for this. Jojoba oil is actually a wax that closely resembles the skin. It is mosturizing and has Vitamin E

Actually I don't know if you can use coconut oil or olive oil. these oils are actually used to REMOVE makeup as I have seen on many videos so applying them as part of a primer will probably make your makeup fade more easily so do not use them. but at the same time a lot of people use it as a primer/base and say it works fine. so honestly i have no idea, im not an expert. i wish though lol

Natural fresh aloe vera gel (when you just scrape it from the leaf), doesn't look like the green gelly thing in this video. My apologies if this is some different type of aloe plant. But from regular experience, I can say that when you scrape the inner transparent gel from the plant and blend it with an electric blender it looks very watery and not gel-like at all. It resembles crushed cucumber more than any "gel". Maybe this lady has used a store bought AV gel just to save time making the video, but the gel shown is not "freshly taken from the leaf". Commercially available av gel is filtered, sterilized (against germs) for long term storage and has been thickened by chemicals such as triethanolamine (toothpaste, hairgels, skincare gels ets) or sometimes carbopol. These are not healthy for the skin and can clog up the pores.
I recommend taking the time to scrape some fresh gel from the aloe plant, then blending it and filtering it through a fine sieve and use the liquid to make your primer.

use a clean spoolie or q-tip to coat your eyelashes in castor oil before going to bed! i swear by this method, it works amazing.

Well I'm no expert but I have oily skin and am guessing the powder is better cause it will dry up the oils where as oil will cause more oil to sit on the face
