I mean when you have 50+ combo the noise looks visibly anxious so him actually being scared isn't too off when he's doing something where everything could go wrong suddenly.
Yeah this beat is like Noise realized that he's not playing for keeps anymore.
It's a full blown desperate escape, having to work on the fly of new tricks to keep his boss off his heels, maintaining the P Rank while not having any room for error.

Easily the best Noise Lap 3 I’ve heard so far. It does an amazing job of taking inspiration from the Pizza Tower OST but also being its own thing
Much like the Fake Peppino fight, but there's a very strong emphasis on personal take.

I love how with Peppino's lapping themes, they generally have the feeling of Peppino losing his anxiety and just going outright insane out of bloodlust...
but with Noise's, it's the reverse, where they have a general theme of him slowly coming back down to earth, realizing how much he screwed up, and panicking hard.
They may be opposites, negating each other, but the absolute value of a negative is the same as its positive. Not so different after all.

Apparently this is gonna be used as a Lap 4 or 5 for the Lap Hell Hotfix mod, and it's a bit too intense for Lap 3, so I think it's fine.
