This translator used to be an accountant before he wanted a career change. He wanted to learn English to expand his opportunities so he decided to become a translator.
Yamamoto just had an atrocious performance (5 runs in only 3 innings) and his interpreter is what you are focusing on?
@@tml365tml7 Yes. It's quite difficult to learn a new language and then become a translator of said language after switching your life long career.
I was disappointed in the pitch selection - Smoltz had just pointed out that the Padres were not fooled by the slider because the FB was being located up high. Will should have called for a FB down low at least once in the sequence to show that the Slider and FB can both come out of the same tunnel. I think on the 2-2 pitch a low FB instead of a 3rd slider down low would have struck him out looking.
How did this guy get the job of an interpreter? There's no way he's a professional at this level. もっと英語の本読むとか改善していただきたいですね。
Yamamoto please check your bank account, this guy is a fraud
@@Justbeyoself Be nice. He's human. Be nice to the interpreter also. He's not Ipie. I do miss Ipie though. He was a character. Spread positive vibes. Go Dodgers!😂
Why don't you focus on Yamamoto's disastrous performance instead?
His frist outing in Korea was as disastrous he then came back and balled. He'll be able to turn the page
サイン盗まれたんじゃないかな?
This was the reason i didn't like the switch of game 1 starter cause Yoshi. Doesn't know how to pitch to Manny and Tatis cause he hasn't faced them enough. Luckily we got through it. He cant start game 5 it has to be flaherty.
スミスのパスボールから嫌な感じはしてたんだよなー🥹ブロッキング出来ないから思い切って腕振れないよね😢バーンズとのバッテリーをもっともっと見てみたい🥹🙏
I agree with you. Seems Barnes gives him more confidence, especially with the pitch framing.
If Smith has a weakness, it’s blocking wild pitches. Smith is great at everything else but it can make the pitcher nervous about throwing an off speed pitch or a ball away from the strike zone.
Yoshi, no more excuses man… 5 ER, 5 hits in 3 innings in a playoff game whilst being the highest paid pitcher in the MLB…? what a joke
C’mon man… he’s a rookie that was on IL for nearly 3 months with an injured riddled starting lineup going into the playoffs. His contract isn’t based on this year alone, let him grow and develop before we start writing him off damn
is ohtani a great player?
you bet he is!
Yamamoto choked in a big game. The offense and bullpen put on a good fight and saved the game from a disaster. He might be the best in NPB, but he's not good enough in MLB.
😳
He getting overpaid for games like these and can’t show up smh
He's NOT getting overpaid. He's a rookie and this is his first MLB playoff game, also remember go much time he was out with the injury. The problem is the expectation many fans created for themselves with the help of early overhyped comments about him
Does he still go down as the winning pitcher or no?Sorry, stupid question.
No
No, because he was pulled early so doesn’t get the win.
“No decision” neither won nor lost….just a poor outing lol
ビビりすぎなんだよ。
厳しいところを狙ったって言ってるけど、そんな能力この1年ずっと無かったんだから。
If you defeat him cause he's a rookie, then 350 million contract just way over priced. It was a huge gamble in the first place to hand him this deal with 0 MLB experience. And please get a professional translator with strong baseball knowledge. The translator guy next to him just a crap
The contract is for 12 years that makes it not overpriced.
I don't think he is over paid. Padres hitters are hard to stop, men. And the Japanese translator does a pretty good job. It's hard to do an English-Japanese translation as the word orders are very different.
