Can you believe this guy was sacked and fined for promoting healthy natural medicine, I would employ him tomorrow. The veterary industry is I have found to be a very lucrative and mostly corrupt business. I went to every local vet and quickly realised that most are over vaccinating, over medicating, and over charging. This man deserves some recognition for his insights and advice and support he had for his patients. God bless you sir. We need more vets like this man. I eventually found (after nearly a year of reaserch) wonderful vet Dr Christopher Day down Oxford. The breeder told me that good vet's were like trying to find hens teeth, he wasn't joking. There are good vet's out there but they are hard to find. I have no doubt in my mind that this man is one of the best. Many thanks again for all your advice.

Dr Jones could be one of the the best vets around, because not only did he thoroughly master becoming a classically trained veterinarian in all aspects of physiology, biology; trained in diagnostics, surgery and qualified to prescribe drugs, and an experienced vet for 20 years, he then began incorporating natural treatments and preventative therapies and diets to treat his patients and educating his clients in therapeutic preventive care, so they could care for their pets more thoroughly.
He started to realise the dangers of using some drugs for treating minor ailments and other diseases, and the downfalls of typical vet care, and pet foods even recommended by vets. He dared to turn his back on a lot conservative classic veterinarian held beliefs and treatments. and start talking about it. Of course most typical vets might be appalled and threatened by what they would perceive as a 'threat' to their classically trained belief system and their livelihood; - so many have condemned him.
This more natural way of healing which Dr Jones has brought to you should be welcomed with open arms, as he COMES FROM the very same arduous intensive training and experiences as the whole veterinary establishment, but has seen the intrinsic value of natural therapies and inherent dangers of dogmatic conservatively held beliefs of traditional veterinary medicine and bravely brings it to you. I have been involved in natural and preventative therapies and lifestyle for both animals and animals for many years and know the benefits they provide. billi taylor @ linkedin.com @yahoo.com

    thank you for this :) I use the same things for my rescue cat (he moved into to my house suddenly) as I would use for my own health, tumeric, baking soda, aloe vera, activated charcoal, coconut oil. Most important to prevent any disease in the first place is that he gets proper resting, stimulation, MEO cat food ofcourse, and no drama;

I just found you videos and I ordered your book off Amazon, cant wait to get it. I use homeopathic for my family, human family that is and I saved two of my dogs lives with milk thistle and colloidal silver. The Vet gave my boy 3 months to live which I found to be unacceptable, so I did a lil research and whala!! Milk thistle did the trick and he is still going strong!!. Thank you for not caving to the beast and remembering why you became a Vet in the first place!

I like what you're doing for animals. I just got rid of another vet. hospital. They refused to tell me the side effects of two flea meds and after doing my own research, I refused to give it to my big cat. They refused to take the meds back, so I'm disputing it with
my bank and....will report them to the Vet. Association so they don't keep hurting animals. GOD BLESS YOU! You are great and a blessing from GOD!

HE has a VERY thick coat!!! I live in Mississippi and this has always been used as by the ole timers to rid their dogs of fleas and ticks. My grandfather was born in 1922 and it's what he always used on his dogs!!! He LOVED dogs took in every stray and usually had anywhere from 20 to 40 dogs at a time. His last couple dogs outlived him. The last one lived to be 19!!! I dont think you will need vitamin B if u use this also with many supplements, unless you are willing 2pay for 1 that's made in the US from US ingredients only. I would not give my furbaby any. Those tend 2b more costly. The safest alternative would be Avon Skin So Soft applied 1x before going out before dusk. These are only my opinions about the care of my dog. I recommend speaking to your own vet about your own dog. A homeopathic vet is a great source of information!!! I have a giant breed dog whose breed is prone to cancer so I try to stick with natural ingredients. He is my service dog as well and has literally saved my life so he is much more than a pet too me. Hello, my neighbor just bought a puppy that is around 3 and a half months old. She said when she picked her up the living conditions the puppy was living in was really nasty. The puppies were in a small cage living in feces flies was everywhere etc and that the puppy seemed to scratch non stop even after being bathed. She has had her a month now and right after she brought the puppy home she soon saw a rash on her stomach then it became soars and that her puppy is now covered with soars although the rash is gone she said the puppy has soars especially around her mouth her stomach, well even on the top of her head. She can not afford a visit to the vet so I'm wanting to ask if there anything she can do for the puppy. She has tried so many things, mineral oil, mineral oil with tea tree oil, mi eral oil with rosemary etc she said she is to the point of giving the puppy up to someone that can help her. Please don't comment anything hateful because she does love the puppy and she has tried really hard to help the puppy she just can't afford a vet bill if she could believe me the pup would have already been. Please let me know what she can do I hate to see her loose her puppy.

Thank you for all the great information you share.
We have a growing concern with Lyme disease in Eastern Ontario. We've been using a product called K9 Advantix 11 for the last two years as prescribed by our Vet. but this product causes our Rottweiler a lot of back irritation that makes him itchy. It's also a pain to use.
We were considering getting him vaccinated this year against Lyme disease so he can go swimming (which he can't do using this topical product). Now, after reading your article on vaccinations I'm wondering what the options are. We like to walk in the bush on our property and local trails.
Can you recommend a safe product that is also effective against ticks & Lyme disease which will also remain effect with swimming?
    Thank you

I need your help. All that I to tell you was diagnosed over the last week, although in looking back I see how she has slowed down.
I've listened to too much information and am overwhelmed.
Lucy is a nine year old cairn terrier. We live together in Mexico. I am tired of going to sleep crying and waking up crying. I'm 67 and she has been my constant companion.
Lucy started on Sunday with a huge amount of coffee ground vomit. I took her to the vet immediately. Her palettes level was 48 and it should be 200.
The next morning the same thing. She received a sonogram yesterday and the lining of her stomach was very thick. I received a call from the doctor last night and she has spots on her liver. Today I am to pick up more medicine for the liver spots. She is taking sagarpa Q, oral gel for her stomach and nothing for the spleen. She is to return to the Doctor every other week for blood tests to have comparators.
I am going to put her on a holistic diet (chicken is the only thing I have fed her so far and she is keeping it down. I also want to use cannibus oil and organic fruits and vegetables.
With spleen, stomach and liver problems I don't know what to use to treat these three conditions. I'm afraid that in treating one condition I might compromise another.
The last time she vomited was yesterday on the return home from the vets. It looked exactly like the other times she vomited. By the way it is an unusually large amount of vomit for the quantity she eats.
What on earth should I feed her that will do no harm.
I've checked most of your web feeds, but can't find anything that relates to the three conditions. Please help me? I really believe in what you are doing and am appalled at the way you were treated. Let's face it big pharma had its ugly fingers in the process here. Anything new, which is of course not NEW, but is against modern medicine, is a threat and you were used as an example. Shameful! But people are now so much more educated with the info on the Internet and we are not fooled.
Mexico is more progressive in these matters because people are poor and rely more on natural remedies, but some of the herbs you mention are totally new to me and I'm not sure if I can find them, even if I did know where to find them. But find them I will!
Please suggest the basics that I should use for my beloved dog.
Thank you for all the good work you do. Happy birthday, whenever it was. I'm sure your told this all the time, but you look like your in 30's. I couldn't believe you are fifty. You should share your secrets to eternal youth. God bless you and the wonderful work you do!

May be allergies, then allergy meds are needed- ie nettle, Essential Fatty Acids, Licorice root. May be idiopathic alopecia- melatonin may then help. You have ruled out lice, but not mange with the advantage. Consider revolution

my dog was just diagnosed with diabetes, he's extremely lethargic and his sugars stay up, 500 ish... The vet said we've got to increase insulin slowly, and i get it, but 10 U, 12 U. neither brought his sugar down, and his vet will only increase insulin when she sees him every two weeks
I'm worried about the lethargy, even his eyes, the bottom lids are dropping and so red. it doesn't even look like him
also his back legs started to bother him, vet said. probably arthritis, but when did arthritis start immediately and hit full on, he can't walk a half a block now without laying down suddenly...
    my vet is no help

      Hi,
      1. The insulin needs to match the blood sugar- doesn't need to be adjusted that slowly
2.Rule out things like urinary tract infection that can make your dog resistant to the insulin
      3. Get urine checked for ketones
      4. I would suggest another vet exam ASAP

Hi- 1st ask your vet about a Culture and Sensitivity. 2nd consider increased fluids, oral honey ( 1/2 tspn/10lbs daily,
BA ZHENG SAN.We have a used a Chinese herb in our practice for dogs with recurrent
urinary tract infections. Ba Zheng San is the most effective. This is a
mix of herbs which are both antibacterial and anti-inflammatory. The
dose of the concentrate is 1/8 of a teaspoon per 10 lbs of body weight twice daily.

Can't too much turmeric mimic the signs of Cushion's disease because it raises the cortisol levels? And second will melatonin help with cortisol levels?

      Hi,
I have not heard of increased amounts of turmeric mimicking Cushing's disease. Melatonin won't affect cortisol levels.

our dogs are dying. its hard to see them dying. our very last gave birth and all her puppies died. Our other dogs suffered from vomitting and diffuculty in breathing. I saw pus on their mouth. I'm now seeing yhe same symptoms from the last dog who gave birth. I think she is also dying and I dont know how to treat her. we are just poor and we dont have money to see a vet.

Sounds like an infectious disease, ie Parvo/Distemper. Requires immediate vet care

    • @PatrickOronico
      @PatrickOronico 8 лет назад

Yeah, I think it's Parvo. My other pregnant dog is I think suffering with it now. She has morning glory when I see her eyes.

Be very careful with pesticides indoor and outside of the house because remember that pesticide is applied in grass where dogs love to go. And inside the house be careful with strong chemicals used for cleaning like Clorox, air fresheners. Perfumes and scented candles all are very toxic not only for dogs that are very sensitive but for us as well.
I have reduced my dog's allergies and upset stomach by reducing significantly the used of these chemicals and toxins
