DJI Phantom was the drone that started it all!
The Phantom 1 will be a true classic for years to come! I´ll keep my Phantom 1 forever, as I will my MAVIC too. Maybe even keep my Phantom 4 also! The first two will always be considered as the models who started the drone fever worldwide! Cheers from Argentina

Wow, i just got a Mavic pro, its incredible to see how fast DJI have evolved their product line...
DJI is more innovative than Apple now in my opinion. They've positioned themselves to be a buy-out candidate without a doubt!

IrixGuy's Adventure Channel Hopefully I will rectify that but time has not been my friend lately. Too much to do and not enough free time to do it in. I have to be patient and deal with what is front of me already. Then I can move on to the next thing.

I flew it for the first time today! INCREDIBLE! This thing basically flies itself no joke! I forgot to turn the GoPro on but I flew over a baseball practice this evening at a college and the expressions of "WTF?" and "huh?" would have been priceless! Gonna try to remember to turn the GoPro on and capture that tomorrow evening LOL

should i worry about fly ways like some are complainging about
MIKE ZEROH If you read the owner's manual first, you'll like have zero problems like I have. I've flown the Phantom hundreds of times successfully and have never encountered a problem. Well one time I forgot to position my WiFi range extender towards the craft for FPV but that was my own fault. These things are super reliable when used properly. There are many people on the Internet that want to scream "fly-away" to attempt to dethrone the Phantom. It's the best drone on the market in my opinion. Plan to fly for a long time? Look at Phantom 2 battery cost vs. Phantom 1 battery cost. That's what sold me on Phantom 1. I can afford a lot of extra batteries =) Check video description I have a link to lots of Phantom stuff. Cheers!

will the Zenmuse Gimble H3-3D work on this Phantom or is it just for Phantom 2?
They sell a kit for this Phantom but be sure that you're handy with tools. A lot of people say that it's easy but I didn't attempt it. I just ordered the Phantom 2 Vision+ with integrated gimbal and camera.
yeah I know my way around tools and there are great tutrials for instaling it on youtube, but I heard that the 3 axis gimble will not work on the phantom 1, just wondering if it is true....
Igor Bajic Honestly I have not attempted, so I don't want to give you inaccurate information. From what I've heard drilling and stuff may be involved =(
