He should at least be included in one episode somehow, the same way they included other guitar players such as Rabbea Massad. That would've been great!
I was going to say that if I had the opportunity to design a pedal I wouldn't just build a boost/drive pedal. I'd try and be a little more creative than that. But this sounds deceptively unique. The switching order seemingly makes all the difference. To go from a fat, thumping midrange grind to a woolly scooped sound when switching the order offers such distinctive sounds that I'd be tempted to include another footswitch (maybe a remote one) to switch pedal order. Nice job.
Got mine today; got the Father's Day discount too. Man, Keeley & the TPS guys made an amazing pedal. I've only been able to run it through my AC10 at home but tomorrow I'm going finally hear it with my Maz 18 & I can't wait. The D&M sounds just as good irl as it does in this demo. If you're thinking about getting on of these DO IT.
This awesome Keeley pedal should be called the "No BS D&M Drive!" No. Bull. Shit. Pure. Sonic. AWESOMENESS! The only criticism of this pedal is the icons of Dan & Mick should be reversed, to align with their respective positions on That Pedal Show videos (Mick on the left and Dan on the right). Of course, I guess the boost would then be left side and the drive right side...? Got V2?
literally right before I opened this video, I just spent about 20 minutes learning "Roll On" by the Living End, and this starts and I SWEAR it's what Andy's playing
Andy, recently on the comments of That Pedal Show episode someone suggested you as a guest on TPS and the guys commented that they would love to have you on. Do it please!!! It would be epic!!!!!!
This is an awesome pedal. But to be honest, even if I wasn't interested in the pedal I watch these videos just to watch Andy play. Damn it dude if you haven't already, get in a band and tour!
Thumbnail or not, Andy may have reacted that way anyway after playing it. I bought a Katana because I couldn't decide on OD/distortion/boost/fuzz pedals (for years). I can choose 20 OD/distortion/boost/fuzz effects with the Katana and switch between any 15 if I'm creative with the setup. Finally I've heard a pedal that knocked me over.
That pedal show really???!, is time this genius and talentous guitar player play with real Masters in big Arenas/stadiums…. Yeah… one of the bigests guitarrist ever. Excuse my english. You are great Andy!!!..
Andy, that looks like an Epi ET-290 you used at the end, but they didn't have mini Humbuckers. What is it? Perhaps a Crestwood Custom Epi? Thanks, and great demo!!
Belo Blues a little late but yes, turning the gain knob down makes the boost completely clean! Greetings to beautiful France from your neighbor Germany! 😉
Cool pedal with loads of available output. To my ears the Dan side is Rat-y while Mick is TS-y. But not exactly so in either case. Dan has hints of OCD while Mick's kinda into Klon(e)ing. :)
Hehe. I run a Rat into an Archer Ikon. Or sometimes the other way 'round. :) The Mick side of the D&M has a rounder attack than a typical Klon(e) but less bass rolloff than a typical TS. Nicely judged IMO.
This is the Pedal named after Dan and Mick from TPS, correct? I feel as though they missed an opportunity in naming it the "D&M Drive". Shoulda been called the "D-ick Drive"
Yeah bud I've got one. It's a TS on one side and a higher gain distortion on the other with an baxandall type EQ. It's pretty great! You can get some nice low gain tones out of the distortion side actually, it has a really wide gain range. It has a clean blend on the TS side, parallel routing, most of the things that Brothers does the TC can do. And it was released in 2009! It was discontinued due to lack of sales. I bet it would be popular if they re-released it now; not sure if that will happen now that TC are owned by MUSIC group (Behringer). Certainly worth finding, you can pick them up second hand pretty cheaply.
I think it's time Andy gets onThat Pedal Show.
I like him here better. He's "The Star" here... that is as it should be.
He should at least be included in one episode somehow, the same way they included other guitar players such as Rabbea Massad. That would've been great!
You got your wish today!
Yes,he could be the guest guitar player. I bet he'd smoke it.
What a horrible thought appearing with those two time wasting baffoons.
I could listen to Andy play for days…and years…and a lifetime! Soooooooo gooood!
Did not expect to hear Pretty Vacant in this video. Awesome.
Thats why this pedal now is on my list
Best! Thumbnail! Ever!
Tricko it's not the norm for this channel. he's copying mick and dan from that pedal show. Dan & Mike drive.
Balanced Human I must be slow... I just figured it out ... very well played Andy 👍
Wich minute?
I was trying to work out what you meant, then realised, went back to all the vids and proper LOL'ed. Genius! :D
I've been using this on my board for about 6 months now. It sounds great, saves space and saves on power supply.
I haven't watched the video yet, but I'm liking for the thumbnail alone.
the best thumbnail of all time possibly i'm pretty sure
I've seen plenty of finger picking guitar players but Andy's ghost pick seems awfully unique not to mention versatile. Fucking sick Broseph!

Rob here, Hello! Thanks Mate! Really appreciate it. ;-)
I love how heavy you played that pedal. D&M never play that heavy. Nice to hear the pedal pushed in this direction.
Right?! When he did boost > drive it sounded like doom metal! What a versatile pedal!
Ah ah the thumbnail is perfect!
That was a fun Pistols rip! Nicely done.
Bought one. Bloody brilliant piece of kit.
Thumbnail for the video is epic, I kept waiting for Andy to have a conversation with himself
Andy, you get all the internet points for this thumbnail. Classic.
strat sounds SICK after the introduction bit
Man. Andy can really play the guitar. God bless.
Love how you panned the guitar tracks. Great demo. Thanks.
I came for the thumbnail. Sold me a pedal

Holy shit. Half an hour later and I JUST got the thumbnail. Class.
This awesome Keeley pedal should be called the "No BS D&M Drive!" No. Bull. Shit. Pure. Sonic. AWESOMENESS!

The thumbnail is incredible. Well played. Love you and both of those guys. I effn love it. 😂😂😂🤣🤣
Pretty Vacant, excellent!
It's a great pedal, I'm loving it. A lot to learn of all the sounds you can get from this pedal.
literally right before I opened this video, I just spent about 20 minutes learning "Roll On" by the Living End, and this starts and I SWEAR it's what Andy's playing
Haha, well it goes back a little farther to the Sex Pistols, no doubt an influence on those guys. Thanks for watching!
Andy, recently on the comments of That Pedal Show episode someone suggested you as a guest on TPS and the guys commented that they would love to have you on. Do it please!!! It would be epic!!!!!!
Epic is right! That video came out today!
please don't.
That pedal is fantastic! Just about the only pedal that I would ever need!
Mick Taylor 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Nice Jonsey demo Pretty Vacant bruh ????!😎
That hagstrom just rips. i love it
This is an awesome pedal. But to be honest, even if I wasn't interested in the pedal I watch these videos just to watch Andy play. Damn it dude if you haven't already, get in a band and tour!
He can´t. Worldwide riots will break out when these vids stop coming at a regular basis.....
Those monotone Johnny Winter firebird pups sound awesome
Great demo for a versatile pedal and a real tone shaper.
Yippee, finally the D&M Drive. Very cool pedal. Have liked it so far.
Best of the both worlds. All three of them.
idk if people have said this but that first tone on the strat on the Mick side was just robert cray tone all the way
Amazing playing
Could you sell me one of your Wonder Woman Invisible Picks Sir ?
Andy here, hellooo
Thank you for that shot at 2:46 Lol now I know how to do it exactly
I could hear ozzy screaming "oh lord yeah" under that fuzzy sound
great playing
That pedal show really???!, is time this genius and talentous guitar player play with real Masters in big Arenas/stadiums…. Yeah… one of the bigests guitarrist ever. Excuse my english. You are great Andy!!!..
I didn't get the thumbnail until I saw that D&M stands for dan and mick
Patrick Mahe that profile pic!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
sounds like a micro terror w a tube screamer
When Andy is strumming with his fingers, which finger is he hitting the strings with? He makes it sound like a pick, but cant figure it out.
good demo
Pistols, what a great start to my day 😁
Andy, that looks like an Epi ET-290 you used at the end, but they didn't have mini Humbuckers. What is it? Perhaps a Crestwood Custom Epi? Thanks, and great demo!!
Hollidays... yeah!
if you had a choice between this and the Empress multidrive which would you pick?
Andy, are you using your thumb when you pick? And supporting it with your index finger?
Hah, awesome thumbnail :-) Good work!
4:45 whats the tune ?
That thumbnail is perfect
Now we must have a PGS Andy pedal.
Can the boost be totally clean ? Want to change my Diamond MK3( which boost section is totally clean !!!)Thanks for your answer...regards from France
Belo Blues a little late but yes, turning the gain knob down makes the boost completely clean! Greetings to beautiful France from your neighbor Germany! 😉
What amp were you using? And what model Epiphone were you playing at the end?
Japanese-made Epiphone Crestwood from the 1970s
@@JNDGuitarman Nice! Thanks. Couldn't find that anywhere. Cool guitar.
5:21 OMG OMG OMG OMG
PRETTY! VACANT!! YES!!
I cant wait to get this pedal
Whats that wobbly bass sound during the VO?
What epiphone is that? Sounds spectacular
What is the tuning on the slide jam? That sounded awesome.
Looks like an open g
I wonder what pickups he uses in his strat
which amp did you use for the demo?
so it's a Klon + ts9?
Is there anything Andy can't do on a guitar?
Please make the thumbnail into a short skit (if you haven't already.) I want to see Any's impressions of D&M!
Andy needs justice!! Make him. Pedal
Does lifting both feet to select two switches at a time hurt your balls Andy? Or should I see a Dr?
What is the minute of the Thumbnail?
3:19 so cute lol
Now I'm going to spend all of tomorrow practicing righteous pinch harmonics with my fingertip...
When did he do that? Must've missed it.
Btw, how did your practice go?
Cool pedal with loads of available output. To my ears the Dan side is Rat-y while Mick is TS-y. But not exactly so in either case. Dan has hints of OCD while Mick's kinda into Klon(e)ing. :)
David Kieltyka I have a Soul Food before a Rat, and you are right, there's def a similarly there.
Hehe. I run a Rat into an Archer Ikon. Or sometimes the other way 'round. :) The Mick side of the D&M has a rounder attack than a typical Klon(e) but less bass rolloff than a typical TS. Nicely judged IMO.
I wonder what kind of amp can bring that sound,,,anyone?
sounds like wampler plexi deluxe imo?
i just realised that Sex Pistols riffs are blues ones
Does this guy have a band??
What is that Epiphone? guitar at 6:00 mark?
Ken Han Epiphone Wilshire
Wilshire.
Need more thumbnails like dat
Ohhh maaaaaaaaaan!!!
Boost First yeeahhhh
What would an Andy pedal sound like?
patanoia everything ;)
patanoia You wouldn't be able to use it with a pick.
andy deserve his own pedal
Knowing him, a drive with a tape delay!
Pᴀᴛᴀɴᴏɪᴀ Andy is a pedal
This is the Pedal named after Dan and Mick from TPS, correct? I feel as though they missed an opportunity in naming it the "D&M Drive". Shoulda been called the "D-ick Drive"
Matt Brown They're saving that for the d-ick fuzz they're releasing next :P
+That Pedal Show
still waiting for someone to make a dual drive pedal thats analog and uses midi but only for presets when using foot controllers like rjm pbc
TC Nova Drive ;)
yep missed that one. leave it to tc to create it, great company too! have you tried this im wondering how good it is?
Yeah bud I've got one. It's a TS on one side and a higher gain distortion on the other with an baxandall type EQ. It's pretty great! Elektron Analog Drive sounds like it might be the ticket. I was not impressed with the brothers sound clips at all.
Maybe - it's a huge, huge unit though. I wasn't that impressed with the Elektron. Brothers is a great pedal but has a very specific sound of it's own.
Sounds pretty good for a Pedal. Satchurated Sound ;)
Never mind the bollocks...
it’s
ANDY!!!!!!
Pretty Vacant.... Oh Yeh!!!!!
Hard to do the pick slide in the intro with no pick😜
theres a new one- the pistols
The eyebrows at 1:34 lol
What is that at 5'15"?
Raphael Pinteiro
you mean 6'3" ?
sorry, 5'21". i think is a finger harmonic
“...A double ended affair”? 😆😆
Drool...
....VAAAA-CANT!
do you hate picks?
This pedal has a big problem with the volume control ( unusable) after 9' clock and unusable before it !!
Andre Mellao what do u mean, he’s got it set to 10.5 - 11 throughout the whole demo?
Mine works fine all around the dial.
Pistols!
