I disagree … Liverpool played well. But Slott couldn’t adjust to Nuno’s game plan. Our players stuck to Nuno’s game plan … without exception. And it paid off. Slott was expecting us to be set up with a counter attacking formation from the off. But we set up uber defensively and bullied your midfield. And it wrattled your team. Nuno managed the subs, so well and our full attacking threat only came on after your tripple sub - meaning slot was out of options to respond. It’s a strategy that worked well. But to achieve it our players had to work so hard. So I’d say Liverpool played fine, but on the day we had a better plan and delivered it. See u next time!
