We booked this excursion with Holland America Cruise line. It was a private whale watching excursion that allowed up to 6 guests. I highly recommend this excursion, and if it’s possible, I’d request Captain Mickey because she was amazing and made the excursion exceptional. Her knowledge of where to find the best interactions with wildlife was the best! We saw multiple whales up close, went to an island of sea lions, and she positioned our boat perfectly to interact with a group of porpoises. She taught us many things about whales and showed us how to identify these beautiful creatures by their tail markings on happywhale.com. She was attentive to our needs and continually positioned the boat in a way so that my sight impaired father could get a better look. This excursion was the highlight of our entire cruise! Thank you Captain Mickey for the amazing memories!
