His accent has softened alot
This is why British actors are better than American
Now he has a role playing a cockney English punk rocker that you can barely understand without subtitles

its his range and the emotions he displays. dude is nice
I'm sure he will be. Especially for roles like Get Out, that movie is great to analyze because of the themes and all the little details. I watched it for a film class I did in college, along with other much older classics, so I can see at the very least his performance in that being studied and talked about for the next fifty years.

Back in 2007 I used to work for a big sportswear brand and we used to hook up actors, artists, and muscians with free clothes and trainers. Daniel came in a handful of times to the store and I'd pick out his stuff for him and make sure he had all that he needed. He was always mad nice and respectful but quiet. Jump forward 12 years!!! and I randomly sit across from him in a members club during a lunch time. I leave him alone as there's no way he's going to remember me anyway.
As he leaves he comes over to my table, says hello to me, gestures for a hug and then we talk about Widows which had just come out, Black Panther, and Queen and Slim which he'd just started filming. We talked a while then we hugged a goodbye and he was on his way.
The guy is pure class. The nicest person. To see him go from British TV to where he is now is incredible. He's one of the finest actors of his generation. Can't say enough positive things about him.

I'm so glad to know he's very nice
If you watch Daniel’s face you can see the joy come across his face multiple times when Sean asks him a great question. How many interviews do you ever watch where the Celebrity is actually having a genuinely good time. The great questions the Sean and his team come up with week in and week out are amazing. Luv this show!!
Totally agree! Sean and his team are a breath of fresh air when it comes to interviewing guests. We never hear the usual generic questions celebs get asked at every other opportunity.
Hence the Nardwaur reference
I've often wondered if the depths of the questions is part of the reason celebrities do Hot Ones, especially if they've seen the show before. They know that the wings are going to be a challenge (in terms of heat), but the questions will be worth it.
Graham norton show is another great one. Every episode the guests seem to enjoy themselves. Best talk show by far.

being black and british it warms me to see my fellow brothers and sisters making it in Hollywood. Over here in the UK they were ignored for years! 😊
I can absolutely believe that they were. How they have missed out. They’re blowing are American born actors out of the water.
No. Blacks are way overrepresented in UK media compared to other minorities. South Asians are completely invisible.
Dang that's sad. I hope they get recognized over there in the UK as well someday soon.
Not even Black British but I feel you 😂
The Black British cultural scene has been thriving for a long time, not sure what you’re smoking if you think Hollywood is offering more opportunities.
Also, USA and UK diversity makeup is not a great comparison - e.g. Well over twice as many British people belong to Asian or Asian British ethnic groups than Black, Black British, Caribbean or African.
Whereas US proportionally has a lot more Hispanic, Latino and Black Americans than Asian-Americans.
I love how much he cares about his craft but without being obnoxious about it! One of my faves
I know! Humility combined with raw talent is the best.

I always said this since I first saw Daniel Kaluuya on Black Mirror, but he needs to do more comedy. I love his serious works, but when he does interviews or go on talk shows or even hosting SNL, he's so funny. Love this episode.
Earlier on in his career he had a supporting role in Psychoville, a dark comedy series from the UK, if you're interested.

Every time someone pays Sean the respect he deserves for the effort of the questions and delivery, makes me remember that not every celebrity has an ego
And that they get asked a lot of lousy questions
Daniel's face just gradually getting redder and redder is so adorable.
“BIG STEPPA”-🇬🇧🕷️
💀
The thanks and acknowledgement he gives at the end is everything. Parents raised him right.
He seems so fun and chill to hang out with. im elated for his career
Daniel is an amazing actor. I also love his genuine character. He loves and lives life to the fullest, look at his pure smile and joy and laughter when the wings got a little too spicy for his comfort 🥹🥺. Can’t wait to see his next work and what the future has in store for him ❤️❤️
