Wow. Nice surprise to see such a wide range of some of the popular pillows out there. I’ve got a few different options myself and just picked up the Dreamsleeper, which is an ultralight fav right now. As a side sleeper, one thing I noticed is that none of the inflatable options out there are really tall enough. I spent many nights getting bad pains in my arms until I decided to put some clothes under my pillow and get my neck fully horizontal. That relieved the pressure from my shoulders and, bingo, no more pain. Lately, I’ve been putting the toe boxes of my shoes under the top of my sleeping pad for that extra elevation and it’s been working well.
Cool review ,,,I’m currently using a trekology pillow ,, it packs down to the size of the cardboard in the middle of the toilet roll ,, has straps to tie it down to the pad and feels great 😬😬😬
Looks like the trekology pillow is very similar to the natural hike pillow I have but mine doesn’t have those loops for the pad straps. I’m kinda jealous.... may have to pick one of those up.
The Big Sky Dream Sleeper is 52g. I slip a buff over it and works well. For hammock camping I prefer a UGQ or Goosefeet down pillow. Nice review and I like the new 'stache!
Nice review on the different style pillows. I use a different pillow for tent and hammock camping. A good pillow makes a world of difference. Cool video 👍
