2018 Style Headlight Kit
Transform the look of your 2010-2012 S197 Mustang with this 2018+ style headlight kit! The new Mustangs have a headlight housing that has three LED DRL lights in front of the headlight itself. The 2018 S550 headlight inspired design is done with a sequential feature; while others are offering a 2015 style with a switchback feature. This feature provides a menacing look for the S550. Now you can have that same look for your S197 Mustang!
Headlight Features
This 2018+ headlight kit features a glossy black housing with functional S550 style LED DRL (Daytime Running Lights) lights. These headlights went a step further and have an amber sequential feature for your turn signal. The LED bulbs are cool blue in daytime running form. The headlights have a projector lens to provide a beam that illuminates the road evenly without blinding oncoming traffic. All of this plugs into your factory harness!
Fitment Note:
Does not fit factory equipped HID Mustangs.
Installation Note:
The Red wire that comes with the kit is for the DRL (Daytime Running Lights) lights. It must be connected to an ignition source. If you are not sure about an ignition source, please consult with a professional installer.

Whoever manufactures these really needs to make an HID option, I am looking for new headlight housings and definitely would buy these if they were HID compatible.

Those look a lot better on the 10-12 than the 05-09. With the slant of the headlights it allows more room for the inner led strips a.k.a. "gills"
I would love a video on rear blinkers. I have a 2004 Anniversary Edition and I would love to make it blink in succession like the newer blinkers. Do they have a kit for that? 😎

The lights are so dim you really can't see that great at night. Look good but factory hids are much better

Cant you get new bulbs ?
I just received my order of these headlights and im trying to replace the bulb with an LED one but disconnecting the electrical connection is impossible. Im not sure if i have a faulty one but i cant seem to take it out.

In order to swap out Halogen to LED, basically would have to remove whole assembly due to cover installed on housing? Also, was wanting to upgrade to LED because the Halogen are dim

Jerry, the amber lights are not serviceable they are LED so they should have a long service life!
Quick question, so the DRL turns on automatically while driving or do I need to put it on Parking? I know here in CAlifornia we’re not allowed to drive with our parking lights on. Kinda confused right now. I’m planning to buy this headlight and halo fog light and I wanna use both as DRL. Thanks

I’ve had these headlights for about a year now , they have been great , but about 2 weeks ago the striped park lights stopped working figure it was a fuse but it wasn’t any suggestions on what could’ve happened ?

What’s a good LED option for the H7 bulbs? I ordered a pair of these headlights but I hear the H7 that comes with it is too dim.
Jerry, we currently do not offer LED bulbs for the S197 cars. You can check the net for the best offer as there are a few different companies that offer the LED conversion for the S197 headlights.

How can you tell if your Mustang has factory HID vs Halogen? And are Mustang GT headlights interchangeable with Mustang GT500 headlights? Thank you in advance.
You'll have to check out the bulb and see what design it is. The HID and halogen have a different design and color when compared. As for the GT500 headlight swap, it's possible, but it requires extra modifications. @@latemodelrestoration Looks like I've got HID's. Apparently '11 and '12 GT500s come exclusively with them. I think my only option is to get a wire harness that converts my year to accept '13 '14 headlight connections.

Jonathan - There could be a chance that the installation is incorrect or the wiring inside of the headlight/harness is wrong. The 3 bars need to be wired to the park light circuit. These steps start at 3:58. -Landan
Why doesn’t fit on a 2014? What’s the difference?
The wiring and design does not allow these headlights to fit or work on 13-14 models.
Other than the harness (which I’ve already adapted and wired to work) is there any reason why I couldn’t put these on a 2014? I have a 2014 but i adapted the wires so that it has 2014 harness. I’ve already bought me 2014 hood and bumper all I need is the headlights. If I buy these I should be able to install and plug them in right? Or is there anything I should know before I order.
Correction*** I have a 2010... but it’s pretty much all converted to a 2014, just want some new head lights
And I can always rewire it back to the 2010 harness. I still have that and I wouldn’t mind doing that if that is all I have to do. I believe fitment should be the same am I right?

These headlights will not fit the 13-14 front end or any factory equipped HID Mustangs.

No, these headlights only fit 10-12 Mustangs without factory equipped HID's
What part number for LED headlight bulb.
We don't offer LED bulbs for 10-12, only replacement HID bulbs. However, these headlights only fit on non-HID applications. You'll have to source a set of HID bulbs if you would want to swap out for different bulbs.

The S197 Mustang Platform started in 2005 and ranged to 2014. Despite what people may say, we will love the 3v cars from 05-09 ;) Install a Set of Ford Performance HotRod Cams and it will be music to your ears!

How can you adjust the light up?
Hey Cristhian, there is an adjustment screw on the back of the headlight that will allow adjustment for up and down once installed.
Does this works on a mustang 2013 v6 base?
No, they will not fit 2013-2014. These are designed for 10-12 only.

StevieBoy, the headlight bulbs that the headlights accept are the H7 bulbs. There are LED H7 bulbs available online but we do not offer the H7 LED bulbs. I do apologize.

This is correct, these will not fit factory HID applications.
