A lot of elderly people pick up part time work so they aren’t lonely and so they have people to talk to, or they might have to work to fund their rent or something. They might not want to rest/their financial situation won’t allow it!

Honestly have to praise anyone who works at McDonald’s! No one should discriminate anyone for working there, I didn’t fail any of my GCSE’s, passed my Alevels, I’m on my second year of uni, but my brain could not cope with working at a McDonald’s!

I work at a McDonalds in Aus, an older people like working at McDonalds cause its not a very committing job. And they really enjoy the social part cause they get to interact with people of all ages and its better then being at home alone or doing nothing.
