I used to be just like these people; gay, married to a man for 18 years, disalusioned, hateful to truth and God. I became agnostic after being raised in the Pentecostal church. I fled after it didn’t fit my desires of what I thought made me happy and accepted. My family had been praying for me for years. I’m now 49 and have been awakened to truth because of the saving grace of our loving God. It’s a struggle not to be tempted, but I now know it’s wrong and I have a calling to glorify God.

I loved seeing that mama with her stroller and child walking with her asking for prayer and afterwards asking if she can stay and listen......and then after a bit.....he offers to pray for her again. Such fellowship and love man. And her getting to witness the other people that he was interacting with and how he kept his cool and patience. The fruit of the Spirit is real. This is so scary how those people react ,I used to be in that life style until He showed me my identity. It saved me .i, so Glad that’s not my life anymore. I never realized how fortunate i am to be out of that lifestyle. Even though Iam still same sex attracted I know that is not my identity . by being repentant and walking away Jesus has freed me. So many of those people are lost and angry and if they only knew the precious Love of Jesus ..how precious He is. ,they would run to Him.

A street preacher is a whole other kind! To be able to withstand the devils blasphemy, taunts, assaults, and disrespect is truly a miracle of the Holy Spirit. I understand what you're saying, I felt similarly a while back. But when I look at the destruction and damage to mental and spiritual and emotional health that occurs when we endulge in *any* sin, it makes me realize it's wrong. God doesn't arbitrarily tell his beloved not to do something, he always has a reason and knows that this thing will hurt them. But he gives us a choice because genuine love always requires us to choose it, not be forced into it. Thinking about children who grow up in LGBT homes have a lot more unhealthy childhoods than those in a heterosexual marriage also helps me to see its wrong and causes damage. Also domestic violence cases and just mental health problems in general between LGBT relationships and not the same problems appear in heterosexual relationships, they have their problems but it's not to the same degree. And biology. The reason of marriage is not just to procreate but it's obvious that it can't occur with a same sex couple and it's just another sign that it should not be happening. All this on top of the fact that God condemns it in the bible, but those are also some of my statistical and biological realities that solidify in my mind (and reality) that it's a sin for a reason, and God is demonstrating love to us when He condemns that lifestyle.
I was never part of the community but years ago I just simply asked God. I thought: God I know the Bible says homosexuality is wrong but I don't understand why. Help me understand why. He did. He answered me. He will answer you too, so just ask him and then pay attention. He answers in many ways: dreams, songs, other people, his word of course. He will bring information across your path to help you understand.
@rin_7513 I used to have same sex attraction to women, but God freed me from that. I was convinced I was born gay. During a church service I learned about the scriptures that revealed homosexuality was an abomination to God. That it went against His original design for man and woman. I told my pastors that I was attracted to women, so they prayed for me. When I got home, I prayed to the Lord. I told Him that I understood that it was a sin, but I can't change the way that I am and that He'll have to do it for me. I surrendered my desires to Him and He completely took away my homosexuality. It sounds a little crazy, but when you come to God with a heart that is honest, humble, and willing to change, there's no way He would ignore that. Another good thing is to ask Him to give you His perspective. Ask Him to see sin how He sees it. To have a heart like His, to love what He loves, and hate what He hates. It's powerful.
Two reasons: 1. They are being deceived by the enemy into thinking what Nicholas is doing is bad. 2. Living pridefully is considered the deadliest sin because you destroy your soul to the point where you lose humility. You think you're more important than others. This causes anger because they don't wan't to be humbled. It's really sad actually.

I still get tempted also. We all do. Part of still living in this flesh. But my life is VASTLY better than it was before, back when I was given over to that sinful life.

Such fellowship and love man. And her getting to witness the other people that he was interacting with and how he kept his cool and patience. The fruit of the Spirit is real. This is so scary how those people react ,I used to be in that life style until He showed me my identity. It saved me .i, so Glad that’s not my life anymore. I never realized how fortunate i am to be out of that lifestyle. Even though Iam still same sex attracted I know that is not my identity . by being repentant and walking away Jesus has freed me. So many of those people are lost and angry and if they only knew the precious Love of Jesus ..how precious He is.

A street preacher is a whole other kind! To be able to withstand the devils blasphemy, taunts, assaults, and disrespect is truly a miracle of the Holy Spirit. I understand what you're saying, I felt similarly a while back. But when I look at the destruction and damage to mental and spiritual and emotional health that occurs when we endulge in *any* sin, it makes me realize it's wrong.
God doesn't arbitrarily tell his beloved not to do something, he always has a reason and knows that this thing will hurt them. But he gives us a choice because genuine love always requires us to choose it, not be forced into it.
Thinking about children who grow up in LGBT homes have a lot more unhealthy childhoods than those in a heterosexual marriage also helps me to see its wrong and causes damage. Also domestic violence cases and just mental health problems in general between LGBT relationships and not the same problems appear in heterosexual relationships, they have their problems but it's not to the same degree.
And biology. The reason of marriage is not just to procreate but it's obvious that it can't occur with a same sex couple and it's just another sign that it should not be happening.
All this on top of the fact that God condemns it in the bible, but those are also some of my statistical and biological realities that solidify in my mind (and reality) that it's a sin for a reason, and God is demonstrating love to us when He condemns that lifestyle.
I was never part of the community but years ago I just simply asked God. I thought: God I know the Bible says homosexuality is wrong but I don't understand why. Help me understand why. He did. He answered me. He will answer you too, so just ask him and then pay attention. He answers in many ways: dreams, songs, other people, his word of course. He will bring information across your path to help you understand.
@rin_7513 I used to have same sex attraction to women, but God freed me from that. I was convinced I was born gay. During a church service I learned about the scriptures that revealed homosexuality was an abomination to God. That it went against His original design for man and woman. I told my pastors that I was attracted to women, so they prayed for me. When I got home, I prayed to the Lord. I told Him that I understood that it was a sin, but I can't change the way that I am and that He'll have to do it for me. I surrendered my desires to Him and He completely took away my homosexuality. It sounds a little crazy, but when you come to God with a heart that is honest, humble, and willing to change, there's no way He would ignore that. Another good thing is to ask Him to give you His perspective. Ask Him to see sin how He sees it. To have a heart like His, to love what He loves, and hate what He hates. It's powerful.

Conviction angers people.

1. They are being deceived by the enemy into thinking what Nicholas is doing is bad.
