  • ALCO's are an ultimate railfan favorite, yet they are something I've barely video taped for this channel. That all changed this past December, when I made my way to the famed Delaware Lackawanna Railroad and chased a rare mileage PO-74 to East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Enjoy!

The D&L is my favorite railroad of all time. The D&L shows that if you take pride in what you do, and put the time, love, and care into your equipment no matter how old you can do just as good of job as your competition. It's beautiful to see old horses like these Alcos still going strong, and better than ever. The Everett railroad is another example with steam locomotive that they use to pull revenue freights with. Some honorable mentions, The Texas state railroad, the Strasburg railroad, and any railroad that uses 50+ year old ocomotives to pull revenue freight.
