for anyone having issues, here are some troubleshooting steps: 1: make sure that your motors are spinning the right direction ( try reversing the direction in the port) 2: reset the rotation sensor at the idle position (and the rotation sensor value needs to increase as the lift moves up) 3: make sure you the units of. the degree values for the rotation sensor are correct 4: try making kp very small/very big if it looks like the lift is moving a lot or not moving at all

For some reason when we run this code that you made, the motors just keep running forever. The only difference that i think is there is that I am using a motor group because we are running a 2 5.5w motor lady brown. Do you know why this could be happening?

the task gets created at the start of the program and runs until you exit the program, if it's in initialize then it will work in auton control too
