Ghosting on D 1 MOCRA Nationals By Dazcat Media

In early May I was invited by Darren Newton, of Dazcat and Multimarine fame, to crew for him in the MOCRA National Championships. This was in D1, his first design, and now over 30 years old. However it had been neglected by various owners and had only just got back into Darren's ownership.
So there was a lot of "what sail is in this bag?" and then "how do we sheet it?" etc. Also sailing with us on the longer coastal races was Oriel Butcher of Dazcat Media who took this video as we drifted along the Cornish coast.
I have posted before about how much fun it is to sail along in near calm conditions. Most boats would be motoring, we sailed at much more than windspeed. Of course I don't appear as I was steering
