The social interactions and how today’s generation is definitely much more “instant gratification” and definitely focused on the technology of how we communicate. On a DJ perspective, I do miss the house/garage parties and having them printed party flyers we pass around …😂🙌🏾

Clubs are dark and noisy! You can't even talk without yelling! So I am glad Gen Z is drinking and clubbing less!

Gen Z here (barely- 1997). I think each generation before said a lot of the same things y'all did "things are going down hill" "this generation doesn't know this that or the other". It just gets repeated over and over. Gen X and boomers said the same things about Millennials.
I think my generation will/does have some issues- social anxiety and not knowing how to socialize properly or being afraid of socializing is big.
But I think we're a lot more emotionally intelligent. I was raised to shove my emotions down and work. As an adult, I am very self aware and take time to respect, feel and process my emotions properly. I don't think older generations do that as much as they should.
I also think we're more aware of generational "curses" and work harder to break them.
I also think we don't hold family as highly as previous generations have. For good reason (mostly). My family is full of people who take advantage of others no matter what. I was raised to give all of myself to everyone else and none to me. F that. I spend my holidays with friends now because at least my friends actually accept who I am and don't try to steal my things or make me feel guilty for being upset at them. It's sad, I wish I had a healthy family and that will be a wound that I carry with me everywhere. But I'd rather have respect and care than judgement for living a different way than they do.
I think my generation is more self aware and empathetic than other generations. Yeah, we don't say hi to our neighbors like y'all do or go to the club as often, but we've learned to process our emotions and have more constructive conversations. We aren't controlling just to control, we aren't screaming at our loved ones because we can't control our own emotions and we accept people who are different than ourselves.
Yeah, our generation has more trans or nonbinary people. Who cares? At least we feel comfortable enough to do what we want and care less about what others think.

Is this one of those, "Kids nowadays don't have fun the way we used to have fun, so they are wrong." kind of videos. You are meant to be like... at least 50 before you can start doing that. Most of you don't look 40+, most of you.

Except there's also incredible amounts of evidence which proves that they lack the ability to function in society effectively. Data from US firm, Intelligent, found 60 per cent of managers had to let their younger staff go, for really stupid stuff as well. Things like they wanted to leave earlier, wouldn't show up to their shifts, wanted to start later or be paid ridiculous amounts for the basic work they're doing.
So basically it's the 'cater to me' attitude which is damaging to society as a whole. Main character syndrome isn't restricted to Gen Z in any regard, but they definitely suffer from it at a much higher rate.

😂😂😂 old people always complaining about the upcoming generation. Using the same old talking points “they are lazy, they don’t want to work.” 🥱 how about generation that breaks the cycle and works with the youngsters and start them off on a good path.
