- Winter is coming, and it's time to make sure the herd is well-fed and ready for the colder months ahead. In this second part of our feeding series, I'll take you through what I'm feeding the cows, why it's important for their nutrition, and how I'm preparing them for winter conditions. Keeping cattle healthy in winter requires the right feed, minerals, and strategy-come along as I break it all down!

I would recommend that you get one of those Greg Judy bail unrollers. That would help you with your seeding and prevent you from having all the mud spots around your feeder in your holding area. He is a great source of information about cattle and regenerative farming on RUclips.
Just watched. that was cool!
We don't want that hay we want you to push that button for them tablets lol
Never, I watch you I love the way that you have a relationship with your cows and talk to them most people think that they are dumb and they don’t have any feelings. I have a question how many of your cows are pregnant and will deliver in spring
thanks a ton! I have 3 heifers and 1 cow currently breed. Calving season should kick off February 28.
Dont dig towards yourself with that folk 😮
you are absolutely right. I didn't think of it.
@PrideRanch be careful sometimes in a rush we don't think 🤔
They're too busy being nosy right now
Pulling the hay with a fork towards yourself doesn't look safe.
You are right!! @dasiegirl2347 pointed it out too. I wasn't thinking. I have to be more careful.
Why u have 2 hay feeders in there with ur cavles one hay can feed them many cavles u have in that pan i not telling how u feed ur cavles and ur cattle and just saying u always feed ur cattle in the cold weather and hot weather always check ur cattle other animals u have
Laziness....mostly laziness. In this video I hadn't moved it. there are times when I have more than 5 yearlings in that pen. So I leave 2 hay rings as opposed to moving them.
Put that fork down and stop spoiling them.
lol....lol...lol.... should I make them work harder for the food?
@ they do not need your fork labor!
@ hahaha....I'm I spoiling them? 🤣
