By the way, if you haven't figured it out already, the healing power doesn't affect units if they're under attack; I've noticed you tend to use it in the middle of a battle, where you generally won't get all the healing out of it.

And that "transport ship near the end wasnt a carrier, They are called spirits. They use a lot of things from Halo 1, because if you didnt know this game is set years and years before "Master Cheif".
Thing is if you play as the Prophet of Regret you can upgrade the elite honor guards to have shields and cloak. If you play as the arbiter you can upgrade him to have cloak permanently and considering his abilities that will transform him into the Dark Templar from hell.

Build both bases use the one farthest away from the covie base as your tech and supply base and the one closest to build vehicle. Use wolverines and cobras. Have to get at least 500 civilians rescued and have a 9-10 in combat multiplier.
the boys name is Adam and he runs to cargo 2 so make sure to keep it alive for him (you don't have to but it's much easier that way) and the name of the achievement is the real winner also kill anything in front of him or he will get shot and instantly die

Me and my brother did this mission yesterday... We failed like 3 times because we didn't know we were able to build a base... Well when we knew we could build a base I was the one defending the base.. I kept building tanks and gave them to my brother.. But I think we were lucky because when they attacked the base it were only 2 hunters and a group of grunts I just drove into the hunters with Forge and killed the others with the gauss cannon... FUCK THAT! I did that strat' without looking at this video four times in a fucking row... and it got it so refined, that I managed to get two bases on the fourth time, and there was two seconds left (2 FUCKING SECONDS) and a few random plasma shots (like four shots of purple stuff to a full health ship) and it blew up before my FUCKING EYES. FUCK THAT GAME =/ I'll try again tomorrow... but it said like at 10 seconds "heavy turrets have come online" and at two BOOM DEAD sad face...
For escape, press the covenant early to stop Them from claiming 2 bases. Also, strategically shut off the lightbridges to block coves from reaching your base. From there claib the bonus forerunner building and mass air. Worked for me.
wtf, I keep getting raped by locust as the spartans stand there and do nothing at the start of the game, even when they are getting attacked. WTF Ensemble
+ChocolateCatFat100 I realize this comment is a year old but I'm going to try to explain it anyway, I noticed that the guy left the tunnels at the start of the mission with 4 hornets and his hero. I think he split away one hornet and his hero somewhere in the middle of the mission to distract a portion of it, or the spare units killed a portion of the attack off-screen.
i got all the way to 1:23 left on the clock in coop, and a single banshee got past our army and blew up the last evac plane.
this made me sad.
Similar thing happened to me, got to 60 seconds left and a few banshees blew it up, I'm on heroic though :'(

Did you mean wolverines? Cobras are anti vehicle units that cannot attack air units.

at my 15min mark I got swarmed with locusts, hunters wraiths and vampires. but you guys got a few ghosts and hunters. :/
i hate this mission i shot down a banshee with 10 seconds left and it crashed into the last ship while i was repairing it and it blew up

I didn't know you could use the healing thingy on the ships...

i get Hunters and a lot of stuff there so we can't concentrate on anything

When the mission was complete cargo 1 and 2 were alive.. Cargo 2 was alive because the Covenant didn't attack it.

After every small battle, save. That saved my controller from getting destroyed.

if you play coop the mission is lots diffrent, you get 3 hogs and 2 hornets.

if you do legendary online you get 2 hornets and 3 warthogs
i also have a tip. Keep too airplanes alife. and tyhe laser will kill only 1 airplane. and the other surivives. win
