I used to rush home after elementary School to be home at 3:35 or sooner to watch space Giants. This is an absolutely insane memory trip for me. The coolest thing about the '80s was basic cable and beyond.
11:07 is a “Little Rascals” short called “Washee Ironee” from 1934 with the 1960’s King World titles where it plastered the original MGM main titles. 25:05 is the King World closing text from the 1960’s, but the KWP logo never appeared until the 1970’s. These early King World prints are very difficult to find.
that logo on the left side is huge! please put it back at the previous size like it in the promos. it is too distracting with the "bug" being so large, fills up the entire bottom of my tv and I find myself looking at that more than the content. Please fix this in next uploads.
11:08 I miss the old times seeing The Little Rascals opening on TV when I was a kid. 25:05 and the ending of it hearing the Rascals cheering. They were the best of times. Where can I find the opening again?

I grew up in Smyrna, GA during the late 70s/early 80s. This is a goldmine of memories.
They don't show commercials like this anymore.
The Space Giants was the coolest TV show in the 1970s!!!
Those Encyclopaedia Britannica films would've been considered "E/I" programming today.
Nice to see that the RKO comedy shorts of Edgar Kennedy and Leon Errol were part of this program. In Chicago, they aired on WSNS Channel 44.
Thanks. Loved Funtime as a kid. I hated it when they got rid of those actors (Jerry, Susan and can't remember the other one).
Barry
This ain't the WTBS of today is it.
You wish!
WTBS & WGN of the 80s was 100x better
@@MMAfighter38113 Yes, they were.
@@MMAfighter38113 most networks were much better in the 1980's.
Before Corporate Greed and Pharmaceudical Overload Commercials.🤦♀️🤦♂️
@@sparklecanada0112 and insurance commercials
Is there a way to get a copy of this? Seeing space giants with the commercials is going back to 1980 again.
I won’t subscribe to Sports Illustrated without a football phone, and that’s final.
or a copy of the Swimsuit issue
I watched the Little Rascals and The Three Stooges Every morning before school on this channel.
Good Times...
"The Space Giants!!!!"
Beautiful channel exelent series congratulations
Never watched the live action Japanese kids shows back in the day. It's good stuff.
I know. It was too different. I didn’t know what to make of it as a little kid. Space Giants, Spectra Man, Ultra Man.
That host almost looks like Jim Carrey.

2:25 is the MTC Video logo theme which was later being slowed down.
I got a feeling it was from ATC Argentina.

I clicked for the Space Giants, and I wasn’t disappointed.
Fly lands on the woman's arm at 25:18.

Don't it make my red cells

What was the audio issue you fixed?
Noise reduction was accidentally set too high and it sounded bad in parts.
I was crying by the end of "Birthday Tree"
