He was my CO back when he was a Maj. ....Good dude. He taught me the word "humility".
That's a big word for a Marine. :) Seriously, having solid leadership makes all the difference.
@@BirdDogey1 still the most big word my brain hold lol

Col. Milburn is just about my favorite person to listen to on all of youtube. Thank you for having him on.
I love that you can hear just how much Michael is worth by the literal echo of his absence. #michaeldeservesaraise
Andy was one of our favorite officers, I knew him when he was a Major.....very solid man and superhuman. 3/4 India
I could listen to Andy Milburn talk all day about basically anything! I highly recommend watching the excellent hidden gem of a show he co-hosts called "Eyes-On" on TheTeamhouse youtube channel! Excellent topics, guests, and perspectives! 👍 (D, the producer/ another panel host of Eyes On now owes me atleast $50 for leaving this comment BTW... I know your lurking in these comments D! 🤣👍)
The sound is echoing starting at 42:38
Thank you, gentlemen. Listening to your conversation was the best use of my time and attention today.
I'm glad your getting these stories out there and keeping the memories alive
Seen this guy a couple of times on Team House channel. Hilarious when he got hammered.
Another great one. Got deep at the end. Great man. Cant wait for your book.
I am not anywhere close to 76 but I'm with your dad, I would much rather listen to podcasts on youtube.
This was such an awesome conversation, didn't really feel like 3 hours to be honest.
Nice just made me self a coffee too. 😎👊👍✌ & respect frm the UK
There are solid scientific studies now on how writing about traumatic experiences (with pen and paper) for a specific amount of time per day, actually has a profound effect on allowing the brain to work through the PTS. It dramatically reduces the severity.
Outstanding conversation
Episode 352, Damn Andy, you’re a beast. This is amazing.
Another outstanding episode! Semper Fi!
Really enjoyed listening to this episode. Andrew Milburn seems like a really good leader who cared a lot about the people he led. Also him and Andy were really funny together.
Thank you Sirs, shared.
“He gave me a bag of grenades”😂
Weird reverb in the audio.
Great episode
I wanted to be a forward observer at ANGLICO in west palm but they told me all they had was a TOW Gunner in Miami 🤷🏻♂️😂
But then they told me it was “Miami Gardens.” 😂🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Semper Fi! lol
Great guess, I really enjoy this, particularly the discussion about leaving Afghanistan...
The sound becomes echo laden after an hour. FYI
1:11:44 Andy your voice is fine but maybe because he’s further from the mic but it’s still echoing sadly.
For "modern Warfare" you need some guys from Ukraine war. Because that's where real modern warfare is happening in real time.. With this real modern warfare not even top US operators have some serious experience.. They never faced enemy who is using high tech gear like drones with thermal cameras etc...
Ask Wagner what happened in Africa before you start spouting shite, they gave out medals for their survivors.
What is everyones plan to survive once society collapses it seems its heading that direction?
Yeses. A couple of dandy andys
I remember my friend coming back from Afghanistan saying he thought everyone was back in the US cheering us on and waiting for us with a parade, when he came back he realized noone gave a shit about the war, i feel bad for soldiers that feel they wasted there time and risked there life for nothing because there right
I remember when people could use there and their properly

@edwardpayne8962 If you are going to be a grammar dork and correct the person's mistake with homophones make sure you catch all of them. There should have been a "they're" at the end. You failed your objective.
@edwardpayne8962 grammar police are the reason we lost Vietnam
@ginacalabrese3869 I realized that too late. The trifecta
What's the name of the author Andy mentioned, who fixed his PTSD through writing, and inspired him to write. Really good show.
Dammit MICHAEL you have one freaking job one freaking job fix the echo
I must be a flake. I watch all podcast..
Andy lookin yoked lately, well done son.
Aw man there's a shitty echo in the sound
am i crazy or is there double audio from andys mike?
love the show btw not hating
I listened through it and heard a little later in the show, did you find it anywhere else? I can't explain why that happened, have to love tech.
@@ClearedHotPodcastaround an hour in and at an hour 45. Felt like an ass hat immediately after you mentioned not having the tech guy there
@@Darius10thP No worries, thank you for pointing it out. I don't know if Michael being there would have helped, at the end of the day all of this stuff is recorded on hardware and software and sometimes it just doesn't seem to behave. At least it wasn't like that for the entire episode.
