They left out one story. Hmong people were heavily persecuted by the Han Chinese who tried to extinct us in 3000 B.C. It lasted until the late 18th century. Many Hmong people were forced to have Chinese surnames during the Qing-Ming Dynasty rule in the 13th century. We had a country once before China stole it. There are four countries that China has stolen:
    1. Dongyi Dynasty with the ruler of Emperor Chiyou
    2. Chu Dynasty with the ruler of Emperor Xiong Yi
    3. Yelang Kingdom with Emperor Yileng, the Bamboo King
    4. San Miao Confederate States (Three Hmong Kingdoms and the rise of the Vue, Cha/Chang, and Lee Clan)
Miao is a derogatory word that means, "You civilized barbarians!" The Han Chinese were afraid of us because our culture influenced South China. Mien, Yi/Pua Yi, Thai, Lao, Zhuang, Tong, and Baiyue/Bai Yia were heavily influenced by our customs. Silver-wearing was popular at that time.
