Criminally underrated car. This and the previous generation P8 are absolutely bullet proof. Literally every mechanic I speak to, no matter their own brand preference, agrees that this is a solid car.
I had a 1996 Toyota Starlet for over a months that was not the cleanest example and it was a rust bucket unfortunately. But let me tell you, it was the most THRILLING and fun car I have ever owned!! It sat so low to the ground that you felt as one with the road, for only 73bhp, it was actually really fast and it pulled much harder than the numbers suggested. In take off and 70-90mph it was very capable and was neck and neck with a 2017 Mercedes CLA from traffic light all the way to 45mph which made him so pissed off that he started a road rage with me. The inside is cramped as you can imagine but man oh man do I miss that car everyday and been looking at examples to buy
I totally believe you man.i got a 4e non turbo starlet ep82 and let me tell ya it surprise people with the speed n stability. It's a fun car to drive
Got a 1998 Starlet Silk that's also got 75hp, people getting in usually are surprised by the fact that it can be quite fast for this low power, I felt in love with this car the moment I got it, my dream would now be to get a Glanza V

It's a fun car. Weighs almost nothing and also handles surprisingly okay which lets it get away with being limited in power.

They are nippy as weight nothing and short ratio gear boxes, newer cars are all built fir motorways now tall gearing .

@@furkanzeydan8941 I know for sure the alternator died and the belt snapped. But I never found out what happened next. I sold it to my local garage (great guys!) and they fixed poor Duffy up and made her into a track car.

Très belle vidéo j'en ai récupéré une aussi elle n'a pas tourner depuis 4 mois problème émetteur récepteur d'embrayage.. là elle est au garage j'ai hate de la récupérer et de me faire pardonner auprès d'elle pour l'avoir laissé ainsi ... Elle a 67000 km et elle est de 1998

My dad had one when i was little and i sat pretty good there but i dont think any adult could sit there
It's not ideal for adults; well at least in the Netherlands cause we are pretty tall. I have to slide the front seats almost fully to the front otherwise there's just no room for your legs. And even then it's not comfortable.

It's a shitbox alright but it sounds really good for what it is,around 5k rpms there is a loooot of induction noise even stock,its a great car to just take at the track or the mountain and beat on
It's a good shitbox that'll last 200k miles and will be fun to drive. Its a toyota.
