Nene, you have to watch your calorie intake, do at least 30 minutes exercise every day are 3 times a week. It’s a life style change. You can do it. You don’t need those shots! Praying for your strength during this journey. 🙏🏽💕🥰🖤

2 pounds a week is a very healthy weight loss. I began my Mounjaro journey on 11.16.22 weighing 206 pounds and by April 2023, I was down to 148. My A1C went from almost 10.0 to 4.9, and I’m the healthiest I’ve been in years. This medicine is not alcohol friendly. Also it takes time
At 55 I weighed 199 lbs two years ago to date, and loss 40 lbs in two months. Overall I loss 60 lbs and KEPT IT OFF! My keys to losing weight is to cut out sugar (I treated myself occasionally) and substitute it with suger free treats because there's alot out there for diabetic folks...which I was pre diabetic at that time. I ate mostly protien fruits and veggies (natural sugar is better and when I added a sweetner I used stevia), and if I needed carbs I started out substituting with cauliflower based products...it's so good! I'll eat a little potatoes now but tend to watch the carbs! I also cook really well and don't miss eating the old way. I leave alcohol alone for the most part, but there's low sugar alcohol drinks out there. I also began lifting weights and the pounds melted like butter, which is something I do eat alot of...I eat foods that has fat because it's the sugar that caused my weight gain. Gaining muscle is essential to melting the fat away...works like magic, especially when we are middle-aged. Good luck Nene.

Crazy I at 40 I weigh on 145 which has been my adult weigh but now at 47 I am 190lb my body can not take this weight .I am not big eat but I went through menopause before 40 and this weight is not going anywhere .I do not drink
Alcohol or eat a lot of sweet .but I am really trying to figure out this journey without any medication
True. I used to strength train religiously in my 40s. My weight was stable at roughly 150. Fast forward 10 years, I am 190 and have been for the past 3 years. I can't get back to my ideal of 150-155. That said, I have not been consistent with strength training. That may be the missing link. Meds for weight loss are not even a consideration.
@@denetrajohnson3067 Gaining muscle is a key to losing weight. I never thought it would work until I I gave it a try....and every time I stepped on the scale I loss more and more weight until my body settled to my ideal weight. I went from a size 10 to 5.

I think your weight loss journey is a good thing to discuss on your podcast, Nene. Millions of people can relate to that. The ups, the downs, and the inbetweens.
NeNe when you first loose weight it is water weight so if your weight goes up a little your body is retaining water weight. Just have patient and exercise and drink plenty of water. You will be fine. I have some great ideas for you for your podcast but I would like to tell you so no other blogs can hear about it before you. Your video was passed to all these blogs so fast, with all their opinions. That just made me mad but I realized that was going to get more traffic to you and your channel 😊 Your channel is going to be great you just take one day at a time love you girl❤❤😊
I'm not sure how old Nene is but after a certain age hormone loss of estrogen may be impacting your attempts. Just a thought. Cheering for you!

I hope she stops using drugs. First, she needs to clean up her diet by getting rid of alcohol and all simple carbs (chips, dessert, ptocessed foods like pasta). Second, she needs to lift weights. At 50 plus, her body can't digest carbs like a 20 year old. Her body will just store it as fat.

I’ve tried intermittent fasting Nene. It works magically. I’ve lost 23 pounds in a couple months. It’s the only thing that worked for me.

Being a Virgo I learned early in life that patience is key to life period. I tell my husband all the time he needs to learn to have more of. That is why ppl fly off the handle all the time weather it be kids, traffic, waiting to see a doctor in the office, standing in line at the store etc we as ppl don't have it but if u know ur body n u know Nene its not for u then go with ur gut. Hopefully it works for u.

Great to see you back, Nene!🥰Be careful with these weight loss drugs intended for those who have medical conditions that you don’t have. Ozempic can negatively affect your digestion and GI system and that’s nothing to play with. Try to go the natural route of diet and exercise. It works if you’re consistent!💪🏾

I did NOOM over 2 years ago. I lost 70lbs. I weighed almost 200lbs at my heaviest. It changed my life. I have kept my weight at my goal give or take a few. I have never been happier or healthier in my life! BTW I'm 59 years old and I feel like I'm in my 30's! Will definitely be praying for you. You have always been my favorite Housewife!🙏

Hey Queen,loving this. I'm 54 in a month and losing became so much harder lately due to my hormones changing. Not quite there with full menopause yet but the hormone bloat had started. Even taking weightloss supplements didn't do it. I went back to my basics And I had to beef up holistic additives: But you can do this sis. Listen to your body. I did. Thanks for sharing.

Nene, it's important to keep a food diary of what you are eating every day. Congratulations I'm so glad to see you back the tube❤ I've been taking Victoza which is another form of said medication but can usually be approved fif you have diabetes and have seen excellent results starting on .06 milligrams and gradually increasing the dosage under the doctor's supervision until my daily is 18 mgs a day. Overall within 5 months I have lost a total of 22 lbs. Yes patience is the key!

I’m on the compounded Trizepitide (Mounjaro) journey. I do my own injections. Words of advice, stay off the scale. I weighed myself monthly because of the fluctuations in weight. Be patient. It works. The 1st 30 lbs I did not see it. The next 30 was a BIG noticeable difference. Im down 62 lbs in 7 months. Good luck!!!
