(we didn't at home) When I found that they had a 24/7 weather channel, I was hooked from then on...and having the smooth jazz during the awesome local forecasts?! Simply bliss!

The music they had on there relaxed me and the weather people were easy going. Remember this was before I and many other people had the internet and this was what we used to do.
My sweet grandparents (born in the early 20s, so from a VERY different era) didn’t have cable TV at their house, so I was stuck with whatever was on one of the 12 channels (4+ were straight static), and PBS kids programming concluded at 5pm, so many an evening was spent at grandma and grandpa’s kitchen TV watching Local on the 8’s. Good times.
I'm neither an American or anything nor was I born at the time when this was the default layout, but I miss the old TWC and I want it back. The music is what brought me to liking weather and would love to see it in TV one day! I don't like the current direction the channel's going at myself...
Seeing the weather from Wilmington, my home town, is surreal in that Iv'e probably seen this exact weather report when it was live. Given the date says Saturday January 2nd, its most likely 1993.
That was one of the biggest storms in history for our time. It was called the storm of the century. I don't think this weather report was from that. This reminds me of when I used to go to the States with my Mum & Dad. I used to doze off to the Weather Channel at night. We don’t have anything similar in the UK, so this brings back happy memories!
I just had a fantastic brief lapse of mental fluidity with describing what I am listening to. At first i thought frutiger aero era tutorial music, and then started thinking of "signalwave". I then thought of that leap point from vaporwave and that feeling of not having a "footing" in what i am listening to because I am listening to something that is new. And that entire train of thought got me so happy, i love this genre of music for what it makes me think, feel, and its ability to grow.
