thank you so much, I was stumped for so long on reacquisition of bonds. The problem was that the reacquisition was for half a period payment as well as half of the bonds in entirety. Then they wanted me to find it on a premium bond in the market for a value that is called back for a premium. If this is intermediate I cannot fathom advanced accounting. I have pages and pages of calculations for one week's worth of college problems.
