Mediumcore is about the worst decision you could have made.
But if you feel like actually playing infernum OR Fargo's (Mixing content mods together is almost always a bad idea. If you want an explanation on why, just lmk), I would love to see a playthrough, cause they're incredibly well done

Get a mod called boss checklist. It help you know the order of what bosses to fight. Also slimes are too good at swiming they cant dive so you can hide underwater. Flying mobs cant swim either.

you should do calamity expert (or master) revengance because calamity gets a lot and I mean a lot harder in hard mode (which makes sense cause its hard mode)

If you think the enemies and common rabble is hard, wait til you get the first starter bossfight in Infernum Mode. And the bosses afterwards get only more difficult as you progress. Mediumcore choice is gonna tear you up so much worse than you think further on, pls just make a new character with only coin death drops before you hit the first bosses

Infurnum is boss rework so fight bosses pls
Counting from personal experience it is best to keep Fargo's and Calamity separate. Content mod mixing breaks progression and it doesn't feel the same as doing a true Infernum run. Both mods have entirely different motifs. Infernum feels like you are playing through a story and overcoming impossible odds and navigating a broken world as you piece together lore boss by boss. While Fargo's just feels like one giant dream induced by some crazy shrooms. Both are amazing but don't mix well together. Also, mediumcore? Your funeral dude.

You need 15 stings from hornets, 3 Vines from plant-shaped enemies, and 15 jungle spores in the underground jungle and for an anvil I recommend it because it can also be upgraded

As both a modded mc and modded terraria player, I can say with 100% confidence that Rlcraft is hella easy so of course infernum is harder
Depends on if you have experience with bullet hells if you dont then infernum will be harder overall id say there pretty close in difficulty but hes doing mediumcore so that more torture
@@deathdragonss2508 I have a ton of experience with bullet hells so theres that but also with him playing mediumcore, that's not something I think I would ever do. I have done it once before and it sucked on vanilla

Just so you know, infernum is almost only a boss rework
It doesn't really affect general gameplay
Also, the early game isn't that bad as 80% of my deaths came post providence

It reworks the abyss, dungeon, temple, crags biome, adds a new jungle sub-biome, adds a new underworld biome for providence, and causes a bunch of FPS drops while it's at it!

I've never had any issues with fargos+infernum, unless your talking about eternity mode then yeah that does mess some things up

you can easily kill wall of flesh with beenades from queen bee around 100-200 of them should suffice also making a long platform across the underworld will help alot
The only thing you need to know when playing fargo's is to never discard any item you find, literally anything in this mod is a material to craft something super important latter
Run it with Calamity Mod Lineage if you really want it to be hard.

I am pretty shure it is impossible to beat terraria with fargos souls mod and calamity revengance + because of golem, but i am not shure if the same would apply to infurnum mode.

INFURNUM IS FOR BABBYS CALAMITY+FARGO SOULS + ETERNITY MODE
Sorry for the long ass comment but terraria, especially modded is so complicated that it needs this length to even scratch the surface (i typed it all on mobile btw).
I have over 1k hours on terraria on pc alone (vanilla + modded) and id love to see you do a full playthrough on an actually possible difficulty.
I think the maximum difficulty reasonable for a first full playthrough would be a classic mode character on expert mode world with calamity on revengeance mode.
For other big mods id say fargos mutant and fargos soul could be fun if you either dont enable any extra challenge modes or only once you can handle the game normally, they add some npcs and items that can make the game easier but also add some really hard optional bosses and are generally well made.
For small but important mods id say magic storage and recipe browser are 1000% (not a typo) necessary, ESPECIALLY with these huge content mods as otherwise youll spend decades just trying to craft anything.
If you do use those two smaller mods the robot npc that teaches you how to make a magic storage system will be your best friend and please spend at least a few minutes learning everything you can by exploring the controls in the settings, make sure to bind rage and adrenaline if youre in revengeance mode and bind the open recipe browser and query hovered item (default binding should be fine for them).
Also hover over and read/click all icons or text you see when you open your inventory like quick stack, sort, and beastiary so you can learn what they are.
Last tip, clicking on an item in your inventory can do different things when holding either left shift, ctrl, or alt
