@My Secret Account That's not true. it is just instinct. A creature like fang or an early human, like spear... they only know to survive. Not to say they don't have emotion, but I don't think that in an age like that they are gonna have a second thought about survival, no matter what it is they need to kill. In other words, asking a caveman to just die is like asking a fish not to swim. Its just instinct to survive man.
@My Secret Account His vision of his family isnt remotely proof of an afterlife. It could easily be an illusion or just a him remembering them and realizing they would want him to live
I love how this mammoth is presented design wise. Everything you need to know about it is delivered visually. It’s been fighting to survive just as much as our main characters. There is probably a story behind every battle scar. And in the end we see it fight up till it’s last breath and it seams like spear even saw himself a little bit in the creature before it’s end.
It had the feeling that Spear could see that, at the end of his own life, he may well be in that mammoth's place, looking his killer in the eye with scant seconds left before the end.
Absolutely, we see a mammoth that has likely encountered battle after battle against other mammoths and possible predators but see it reaching the end of its life to where it fights one last time before meeting its end.
@@Zombiewithabowtie it's possible, Spear either comes across a predator or something else and something plays out very similar to this. One last fight before meeting the end.

The story and the characters made us stop thinking during the whole episode and just enjoy it, leaving us speechless after the episode end for a moment then the only thing that lingering us is our feelings about that episode.
What I love most about this scene is the sense of moral standing is put into question. We can sympathize with the mammoth he/she is old and weak, merely trying to find his/her way back to it's family so that It won't have to die alone. On the other hand, Fang and Spear are parents whom not only lost their family but watched in horror as they where devoured. Now without a family to care for all they can do is survive. And Meat is the best source of food in this primal world.
Brett Glisson and the thing is, even though he was the one to deliver the final blow, he sat down and gently laid a hand on him as if to say, “you are not alone. I’m sorry... but it’s ok. Rest now.”

The mammoth may have been past his prime, separated from his herd from the harsh snowy landscape, and possibly dying from old age but the guy (or girl) managed to fight to the bitter end even if there's a tusk missing. The creature still had some fighting left. I love how the mammoth wasn't killed upon moments it took a little bit for the animal to be subdued by Spear and Fang just because some animals can look peaceful and gentle or fragile and delicate doesn't mean they're unable to defend themselves from enemies.
This is a very accurate depiction of how in nature, a predator will go after the member of a herd that falls behind and is away from the rest of the herd so it is easier for the predator to take down the prey that is either old or sick and therefore cannot defend as well. Only the strong survive and those who fall behind are likely not going to survive, survival of the fittest.

Poor mammoth.... It looks like it suffered a great deal in its life in order to survive. Then it got to live to an old age where his body started to weaken and give up on itself. Then two predators come along and violently kill it.
Hotdamn! For an old and weakened mammoth, that guy sure put up one hell of a fight. 😳 I dread to think what would've happened had Spear and Fang tried to ambush a young, strong and healthy mammoth.

Damn that was fucking brutal... I LOVED IT
😭😭😭😭 que pena like si te da pena
A truth of old ages. No mercy no survival.
Poor mammoth.... It looks like it suffered a great deal in its life in order to survive. Then it got to live to an old age where his body started to weaken and give up on itself. Then two predators come along and violently kill it.
Yet this is show about a universe were everything and everywhere is a land of brutality and violence so your opinion means nothing to anyone
What made this episode sadder was how even the heroes can be viewed as the villans
Hotdamn! For an old and weakened mammoth, that guy sure put up one hell of a fight. 😳
I dread to think what would've happened had Spear and Fang tried to ambush a young, strong and healthy mammoth.
I know that this is a serious and depressing moment, I really do, but imagine how funny it would be if the mammoth stepped slightly to the side when Spear first lunged at him from behind the cliffs.

Lands in snow even though half-naked. Logic doesn't make sense
Me: At night sleeping with a double-thick blanket. Still cold
Logic makes perfect sense
Wow
....What? What do you mean it doesn't make since of him lending in snow half naked? That make perfect since because of his weight.
An old alpha that passed his prime, bet he could take on Fang and Spear both in its peak. He went down with a good fight.
This is tremendous. Great job.
Spear and fang in home:Kids Were home were Brought food
The babies t rex:👀
This is what could’ve happened if Matilda got a chance to fight Martha in Prehistoric Park
I used to be an adventurer like you once, till I got a spear to the leg
That mammoth is to old, he can never kill a dinosaur
This is a reminder that Spear and Fang aren't heroes; they're just animals fighting for their survival, no different than the others.
You can see the remorse in Spear’s face when he is about to give out the killing blow to the Mammoth.
I saw one episode of this and I was hooked. But I gotta watch it from the beginning
Its free on Adult Swim website and app. That's where I watch it from.
Bruh, this show just proves you don’t need sex scenes or swearing to be a good adult show. It even has a more detailed realistic style to it.
