I don't hate the song, but it really kills the mood in the scene where Heero is retrieving Wing Zero. I much prefer the OVA version. Keep the pop songs in the credits, please. One of my big pet peeves is lyrical music over actual scenes in shows and movies, and anime takes this crap to another level.
