Putin to Western media: "See, Ukraine doesn't want peace"

    • @bekeneel

It's pretty clear too why Pootin keeps saying he's open to negotiations & "talking peace". At this rate his army is decimated fast, and if he can't rebuild his army with the necessary time, russia has no chance. Think it's clear why they wouldn't want the rest of Ukraine then to join Nato, cuz if so it would become impossible for them to take the rest of the country, as he knows Nato is too strong for russia in every way. So Ukraine is right not to accept a "ceasefire". Because: Russia made no big deal of bordering countries Finland & Sweden to join Nato, was all good, meanwhile Nato never even threatened russia so that's just anoher BS excuse from Putler..

It's about another .5 - 1% of Ukraine, I can't see the west going for it either but the citizens of Ukraine should see this as a chance. Why fight over this part of Ukraine further and probably die. Stoltenberg and Zelensky already poo-pood the proposal. Good luck all involved, peace.

@@larzkruber822I'd argue it's a strategy. Those are Slavs, same people. Always have been. Despite the growing hatred between western part of Ukraine and Russia, they are still going to live next to each other. Nobody wants to demolish a neighbour to a point it becomes a hatred lasting for centuries.
And I'm speaking from personal experience. I'm Serbian, look at what happened with Yugoslavia. There's much hatred here still, despite 30+ years passing, despite being the same people and speaking virtually the same language.
The things we did to each other all sides, no excuses.. it's horrendous and it will never be forgotten.
Ukraine already has a rough history from Stalin era, I'm arguing Putin's trying hard to avoid creating a forever enemy

“All the young Germans approached by the Guardian in Brandenburg talked about their anxiety about the war in Ukraine, with many criticising the governing parties for weapons shipments and expressing angst that they or their peers could one day be called on to fight.”
This finding is reported in an article in today’s Guardian (British) newspaper. It also quotes young Germans as saying:
“Ukraine never interested us before - this is a thing between Ukraine and Russia,” Friedrich said of Moscow’s full-scale invasion of its neighbour. “Why should we help Nato expand its territory using our arms?”
Others said the government’s support for Ukraine had driven them to splinter parties, which taken together clinched 28% of the under-25 electorate, by far the largest share. Such fears and economic concerns have supplanted the climate crisis at the front of young voters’ minds, a recent study found.

"Putin's Peace Proposal June 14th" What I have read in the western media is already an outright and contemptuous rejection. Announced just before the pseudo Swiss peace conference, at which Russia has not been invited, "perhaps to the second one" as they are currently saying, it does however serve its purpose. Like the lost appeals for a ceasefire in Palestine, the world majority will be able to see through the attempts by those to keep the armament industries well-oiled and profitably running. A brilliant propagandistic move!

    1. Consistent with Putin's legalistic attitude, this announcement is a requirement and assuming it's rejection, is a requirement before the dogs of war are truly let loose.
    2. Civilians in Kieve should take action to relocate as far west as possible.
    3. Ukraine, as a political entity will cease to exist before 2026.

      1. It's rather a last chance to Ukraine and west to come to peace talks with some leverage and save face. And also to publicly show rest of world that for 3rd time Russia wants peace talks. Putin knows all what is happening will go in the history books, so he is protecting Russia's legacy.
      2. Will not be necessary, Ukraine army is about to fully collapse, sooner than expected. That's what Putin was probably informed of by his war cabinet and that's why he comes out right after that with this proposal.
      3. I think that will happen faster than that, I am looking at end 2024. This is what this proposal is. The end is near.

Putin is not testing this, short after talking to his war cabinet he knows what I'd coming soon so he sends a last chance to west and Ukraine to come to the table with some leverage because he now knows with almost 100% certainty that Ukraine is about to collapse sooner than expected. After that west and Ukraine will have to come to negotiations empty ended. He also does this to show in public for the whole world to see that he has again given west and Ukraine a chance for peace talks before taking all. It will be kept in archives that Russia made 3 attempts for peace talks and west and Ukraine refused every time. He checkmated Ukraine and west on battlefield and diplomatically. It's game over.

Basically, the same rules apply in politics as in other spheres of life, so the fact that someone smiles at you, shakes hands and hugs you, assures you of their undying devotion, does not necessarily mean that they wish you well. People perform similar gestures for various reasons, sometimes completely opposite to those declared.
As an actor, Zelensky certainly understands this, because the entertainment industry often attracts people with a pleasant appearance, but in fact, petty and often ruthless in pursuit of their goals, for whom image appearances are not only a tool for making money, but also a substitute for personality.
The problems of many showbusiness stars often stem from the involuntary blurring of the boundaries between private life and the role they play. All in all, all these types of stories are very similar to each other, containing many common patterns. A widely unknown actor or musician gets a chance to appear in a profitable production or releases a catchy melody, gains popularity, which translates into an increase in financial possibilities. Changes in life happen too quickly, new opportunities and temptations appear, and as we know, a sudden excess of everything can be much more dangerous than a stable deficiency.
The world of politics is also showbusiness only on steroids, where the stakes are much higher, often including human lives. If you don't like a movie or a song, you just turn off the TV or change the channel, but there is no escape from a political show. Even if you lock yourself up in a monastery, the consequences of your political decisions will still affect you, so even if you are not interested in politics, there is a risk that it will become interested in you.
I think Zelensky doesn't care about politics. Playing the role of the leader of the nation, he had to accept the imposed convention of the show, but this did not change his amateur, purely entertaining approach to the topic. Money is probably the most important thing, because he was already used to a certain degree of popularity professionally. Sure, there's a difference between being applauded by anonymous spectators on stage in a small club or by high-ranking government officials at an international political summit, but ultimately, the spectacle is what drives the audience's interest, and the lack of it is a sign of the end of your career.
This is probably where the familiar ground ends for Zelensky and terra incognita begins. His dilettante approach to political issues, which he was formally supposed to deal with as president, indicates a complete lack of interest in issues related to the exercise of power. Of course, Zelensky is just a figurehead pretending to be the head of state, but it is surprising that, when assuming the role of a servant of the nation, he apparently did not take into account the risk associated with the consequences of image failure.
After a failed performance, the showman simply looks for a new role, and in an interview, he acknowledges his professional failure with a joke, and that's it. An actor selling his face as a showcase of the bloody proxy war between the US and Russia may have serious problems getting out of character and leaving the stage on his own.
There was probably no room for an emergency plan in Zelensky's imagination, which means he did not take the potential threat into account at all.
Most American presidents were to some extent politically involved in wars, first fought on the American continent and, over time, also in other parts of the world. After the end of World War II, America took great care to ensure that peace did not spoil the war interest, which became the main interest and source of income for subsequent presidential cabinets. War has become an indispensable element of American politics, and people who tried to stop this insane, self-perpetuating mechanism of destruction simply ended badly, the best example of which is the famous case of the Kennedy brothers.
If the people in charge of the military industrial complex had no qualms about getting rid of an inconvenient president on American soil, and then his brother running for president, why would they hesitate to shoot a Russian actor of Jewish origin, paid by the American administration, pretending to be a Ukrainian and president of Ukraine?
If Zelensky still hears anything from outside the information bubble maintained around him, he must have already realized that he is still alive only because the people who hired him count on further revenues from the ongoing conflict. There is no war - financial turnover is falling, and shareholders and members of various supervisory boards are dissatisfied. Therefore, for both American war investors and the thieves gathered around Zelensky to make money, the war must continue. His life and apparent political career are only a temporary side effect.

Air Force Command Post Along With NATO Pilots Was Wiped Out In KHMELNYTSKYI┃Rus Captured GEORGIEVKA
On the night of June 14, Russian strategic bombers and Mig-31K fighters launched a massive missile attack on such regions of Ukraine as Kharkiv, Cherkasy, and Khmelnytskyi. In the Khmelnytskyi region, the Russian military once again attacked the city of 'Starokostiantyniv'. It is reported that Kinzhal hypersonic missiles have once again hit Starokostiantyniv airbase.
