If you don't check on him for a while, Foxy gets worried about you, so he runs down the hall to check that you're ok, and because you're so tense about keeping watch for Freddie, Bonnie, and Chica, you just die of fright when he appears." Can't remember where exactly I read this, it was back in like late 2014/early 2015
