    I'm only ten mins into the video and all I can say is you've never even pulled down a running 4 stroke engine from what I have seen! Good luck, you wont learn if you don't have a go!!!
    It also looks like the bike has been for a swim!

      Thanks for the watch. You are right, this is the first one like this I’ve torn down. I’ve changed a lot of parts but not broke one down other than a lawnmower.

    the way you pull the head off that motor is first you back off the cam chain tensioner, it should be between the cylinders under the carbs. next unbolt the gear from the cam, then you remove the cam through the gear, the gear will then be able come of the chain. now you should be able to remove the head. those cam chains do not use master links and they wrap around the crankshaft.

      at least i think that's where the tensioner is located. i haven't work on japanese bikes since the 80's.

      Good memory on that. Sometimes I can't remember what I ate yesterday =)
