All about things that go vroom, brap, and potato-potato. That is all, unless it is interesting to me.

🪓🪓🪓🪓 4 oui of 5 chucky chops?
Niiiiice 👍
Very much so. I was pumped!
Id love to see some reviews man!
Hey, thanks for watching. I plan to do some. Thank you for the input. I see your other comments. Welcome aboard!
Here in alabama you can find those in just about any gas station 😂😂
It is beautiful down there. Funny how different things can be so different only 3 states away.
@ yeah for real
Your so lucky😂
Verrrryyyyy lucky on this one.
Nice job!
Thanks. Made the sale so I’m shopping again lol.
@upchuckchops Shopping is the fun part 😉
so, did you make a sale?
I just did. I basically broke even and learned a lot, so I’m calling it a win.
@@upchuckchops 👍
Always a good plan to be prepared
@ACECafeBikes Try to be anyhow. Give myself the best shot I can.
i seen your 'got it running' short before i saw this. how many cc is that thing?
49cc, just a little thing.
WOOHOO !!!
A big woohoo !
Nice job Chuck! Good to hear her running!
Thank you. I’m tickled it popped off. I have to work through a little “hang” in the rpms after giving throttle but seems pretty good other wise.
... and no kickstart.🤨
Not yet. I think it needs a new return spring.
10:30 that noise is your open exhaust. (edit) looks like you figured that out. ;-)
Yeah, I felt really dumb when I realized it. I can’t cut out all the mistakes or someone might think I know what I’m doing! 😂
@@upchuckchops 😂
i'd LOVE to see someone do that with an electraglide. (6:00) that thing looks like it's been leaking a bunch of ... EVERYthing !!
A friend of mine told me about a guy he knew that could lift one into the back of a truck. Swore it. His nickname was Bigfoot. He must’ve been a heck of a man. It is a leaky little scooter. Will clean on it soon.
Persistence always wins 👍
Thanks. Slow and steady progress.
My barrel and piston is rusted stuck how can i free it
@matthewtolmay7160 First, thank you for watching. Second, my advice is only my opinion. @Garage2Trail is a great resource for this type of bike. I would start by removing the spark plug and putting lots of Kroil/3 in 1 oil/motor oil… pretty much anything you have to start soaking. Wait a few days and add some more. You could put it in first and rock gently back and forth. Maybe get a wrench and try to roll it over. Worst case scenario, I’ve watched guys pull the head and drive the piston down with a 2x4. Patience is key. I’ve also seen heat used. I’m thinking about making a video breaking loose of an old Kawasaki 400 engine that is stuck. Let me know if you would be interested in watching that and I’ll try to give it a go.
have you checked the compression? if it has low compression it would be a hard start.
I thumb checked it and seems decent enough. Thanks for watching. Stay tuned because I am getting close.
Maybe compression is down. Pour a little oil down the plug hole to see if compression jumps up at all. Might just need rings.
I hadn’t thought about doing that. Thanks.
Keep it up, failure is only a learning tool.
@ You are right!
I’m more of a man after watching this
Hahaha right on! Thanks for watching.
when you replace your screws try find allen head screws. that's what i tend to do with carbs i work on and it makes the next time way easier.
Yes, new Allen heads are much better.
Good breakdown video, Chuck!
Thank you!
happy TG to you to. ( heard you mention church and i saw you had a couple of CMA stickers on your goldwing. guess that makes us fellow servants, brothers if you will. among other things, i'm thankful for that.) PS angel's doing a thanksgiving live tonight sometime between 6 and 8 your time. she mostly does these for her viewers who tend to spend days like this alone. but if you're not busy ...
Thank you! The stickers were from the previous owner having the bikes blessed but I didn't see any reason to remove them. Yes, I am a Christian so that would make us brothers in that and bikes. I considered a similar live stream but listening to Angel sounds better. I'm probably going to go wrench for a bit, but I may take the internet machine out there and catch the live stream as well. Happy TG to you and yours as well even though we celebrate it on different days, I think.
@@upchuckchops for me, it don't matter what day, i'm always thankful.
Happy Thanksgiving Brother!!
Thanks! You too!
looks to me like that boot from the carb to the engine is homemade out of a piece of rad hose. carb boots don't have reinforcing fibre or strands in them.
I wondered about that. I’ve heard these little engines are especially touchy with their air flow. I have one on the way.
@@upchuckchops i'm just doing your viewers rides slide right now. would you mind if i included what state you were in? if not, what is it.
Oh yes, Indiana
looks like someone's already been in there. those hose clamps on the fuel pump and carb aren't from the factory.
There are several signs someone has been there before me. I hope I can sort it all. Poor old thing needs some love .
Like Scott Summers lifting his XR600 back in the day! 😆
Dang that dude was stout.
Is that a scooter
It is. 2003 Honda Metropolitan.
i seen a guy one time years ago grab a small block chevy out of the back of a pickup and carry it into his shop. and, ya, he was a big guy.
Wow that is strong.
cool that your dad rides too. do you get to ride with him much? out of my 8 kids, there are 4 who ride and a fifth wanting to get her licence, but since i haven't been able to ride for the last few years the opportunity to ride with them has passed me by.
I got my license shortly after Dad did. We do ride together sometimes. Not nearly enough but it is always a good time. Want to hear a good one? Mom rides her own too. Maybe one of the kids will snag a side car on for you. I hate to hear you haven’t been able to ride.
That shit makes me nauseous
Bummer. It is the best stuff I’ve used on seized bolts. You might be ill if you smelled my garage. Thanks for watching.
Dude thats sickkkkk!!!!
Thanks bud. I really like it.
New riding vlog coming soon on this bike.
never had a helmet that cost me more than $10. and most were modified to make them small as possible. not sure they'd have been worthy of such an honor. but for what some helmets cost today, you don't want them just laying around on the floor or work bench. got your pics. thought you would have sent one of the little pink quad you built. you should send one to include in your VR slide. and let us know what State you're in so we can add that too ( if you're okay with that). you will be in VR 20 ( the next one coming out).
I paid more than $10 for mine but it was cheap compared to the high end ones. I really like my Biltwell Gringo. I’ll see if I have a picture of the pink 4 wheeler and send it too with my location. Thanks for watching.
the magnets angel uses she gets from a local sign shop. they're used for making removable vinyl vehicle signs and they're pretty strong magnetically.
I didn’t think about a sign shop carrying something like that.
I figured out the sound issue you were telling me about. The internal mic is not good, and you have to change a setting to the external mic for it to work. I'm glad you said something so I could figure it out. I'm also really happy I didn't waste $ on it.
@@upchuckchops that's great, plus it's always a good feeling to not waste money. it took angel a while to sort out all her audio stuff too.
@@upchuckchops i'm editing viewers rides pics right now. you should e-mail angel some pics of your bikes and projects with a bit of info and we'll plug your channel too.
Oh nuts I didn't see this until just now. I was editing too. I took some this weekend and will send them now. If not this one, maybe I'll get in the next one. Let me know if the formatting doesn't jive. Thank you for the plug.
How to put it back in
Line up the tabs will the slots and push down gently. Then you can remove the key.
@@upchuckchops mine had a problem w the lock so the key doesnt go back and fourth so i just gotta push it in hard and it lock itself
Chop and hard tail the kz
I always worried my beer fridge will die and all 500 of my Earthworm Jim stickers will go to waste
That fridge will be a must repair type deal. Or cut the metal off and use it for a wall hanger
I always slap all of mine on my toolbox! My philosophy has always been, I can lose everything in a divorce, but a man always keeps his toolbox! 😂
Right. If a guy doesn’t get his toolbox in the divorce it just isn’t right. I have them on my tool box and lunchbox.
Saved me an hour thanks so much lol hahah
Glad it helped. Thanks for watching.
My vote is for the KZ. Make it a rider which will make it easier for decision making time when finding parts
I’m leaning that way. Thanks for the input
Dang, I hate blood blisters and changing tires!
Yeah they about whipped me
Jump on there chuckay!
Hahaha I’ve always wanted to jump one like on the cowboy movies!
You can teach yourself all of this
I've been trying that route. I feel stagnated after 300+ videos. I also like learning others' processes, regardless of the work. Thank you for watching.
@@upchuckchopsidk where you went for info, or what you know or don't know. So I'm just guessing here, but I think you'd benefit from hiring an editor. You can find them online. Somebody will be more likely to teach you if you paid them. Good luck
@@Long-legged thanks for watching. I’m sure an editor would help, but that isn’t in the budget right now.
pontificate verb /pänˈtifəˌkāt/ Express one's opinions in a way considered annoyingly pompous and dogmatic. (sure you wanna go with that?)😂
No, I'm not really sure I want that one. That is part of the fear of going live because I don't want to say anything exceptionally stupid. hahaha
just missed it. was doing some photoshop stuff for angel and didn't have youtube on.
It is pretty cool you guys get to work together. My dad and I worked for the same company for about 8 months. It was pretty neat. I would like to get him in on some of my videos or video us working on one of his bikes.
Put the 450 on a lawnmower 😅 this is the guy from the gas station with the mower. But your Vespa would probably get views you don't see too many of those old ones anymore
Right on! Thanks for watching. That would be a crazy fast lawnmower.
@upchuckchops I don't miss a video buddy since you told me about it. And yeah it would be nasty but it would make a great gokart too if you mounted it up front. I figured out air flow isn't great if you put them in the back.
@ I appreciate it big time. Maybe we should do a feature on the Snapper and put it up. Interview/show off about the build
Nice
Thanks for watching!
I’m failing to see what’s wrong here?
Not a thing bud, I love them both!
@ excellent!
Welder is about ready to go!
Right on buddy!
hi chuck. missed this when you were live but saw it in my notifications the next day. next time i hope i'll catch the live stream when it's live. one thing i got to tell you. i'm just at the part where you're putting the front wheel back on. them V tread tires you got, when you put them on a vehicle, looking down on the tire from the top, you what the V to be pointing to the back if you're putting them on the front, and pointing to the front if you're putting them on the back. this has to do with how the tread on those tires sheds debris when under braking or acceleration load. you don't what your tires to retain debris and turning themselves into slicks when you're braking or accelerating, especially if your giving these 4-wheelers to kids. now back to the vid for me.
I wondered about the tire orientation, but didn’t look into it because these are pretty slow even for kids. They won’t be too hard to flip around. Thanks for the information. The livestream was a test basically so I didn’t advertise at all. Next time I will.
i hate making coffee so i make enough to last 3 days. old, cold coffee is my drink of choice.
Right on. As long as it does the job.
cool chuck, happy they got there. angel just got to florida tonight (at about midnight their time) for the forgotten angels campout. i'll let her know you got them.
Thanks! I wasn’t able to get down this year to the campout. Maybe next year.
