Her attitude will have that boy delivering pizza and living in her house for the many years to come. He could have hit a person or killed someone.
As a pizza delivery person myself... Tired sleeping is just as bad as drunk driving. If you are tired and can't keep your eyes open or head up....you are too out of it to drive. Get a ride if possible or sleep in the car in a safe space. Thousands of people die from tired driving every year.
If his mother had raised him properly, he would've known to apologize without any prompting as well as taken full responsibility for his actions. His mother does him a disservice by saying "he's only eighteen years old."
Can you possibly imagine there was no special treatment because they knew the police? Something like that someone’s doing field sobriety and blowing in a machine. Absolutely nuts
Being 18 doesn’t make you an adult. I got in my first car accident when I was 18 and I was still in high school. I was sued and alone. Being 18 isn’t too young to apologize though. That’s ridiculous.
There are multiple police body cams of people falling asleep behind the wheel at a fast-food restaurant drive-thru line late at night or early AM and then getting investigated for suspected DWI because that is considered unusual behavior. This guy falls asleep while driving down the road causing a crash with property damage and is not investigated at all for possible DWI simply because per the mother the cops did not note the smells of alcohol on his breath even though the guy admitted he was not all there even after the police arrived and could not remember much that happened afterwards that night.
He’s old enough to vote, to purchase a gun, to join the military, to take out a credit card, mom is delusional. He may be your baby but he’s a man who needs to grow up. You aren’t always going to be there to rescue him and he will end up in jail someday because of you.
First of all, he had to be smoking or drinking or both. He is a grown adult at 18. If the mom don’t see that yet with the “he’s only 18” then he don’t need to be out til 5am. And the cop is clearly a friend of the mom or the family because nothing mysteriously disappears

I haven’t even finished the episode but the mom and son walking in with smirks on their faces already gives off bad vibes 😂
The plaintiff is very respectful, that deft mother….is a piece of work.
if you've got cheap insurance and their damages are capped. you can be sued for the rest. Got off at midnight was with his friends until he crashed at 5:30 in the morning.
Mom is a piece of work, cops who dismissed everything for her are an example of what is so wrong with legal system today and why some groups really hate and have no respect for police these days. Her attitude will have that boy delivering pizza and living in her house for the many years to come. He could have hit a person or killed someone.
Guys with man buns ARE CHEESEY
That's not a guy. That's a mommy's baby. Not a good look either way.
And Tits.😊
I wonder if this case is owed because I do agree the man bun was super cheesy during the 2015 2016 phase.
🤣🤣🤣
He was totally drinking 🙄
Good luck raising his babies mom, because he sure won’t do it.
The defendant mother infuriates me!!!!
As a pizza delivery person myself... Tired sleeping is just as bad as drunk driving.
If you are tired and can't keep your eyes open or head up....you are too out of it to drive.
Get a ride if possible or sleep in the car in a safe space.
Thousands of people die from tired driving every year.
Wheres my Mommy? I'm going to court.
He definitely was either drunk or high on drugs, mother was treating him like he were 5 years old, she has that, my son is just a baby attitude.
the judge is right, and the kid could also have made a better appearance in court
"He's only 18"....Miss that's an adult
If his mother had raised him properly, he would've known to apologize without any prompting as well as taken full responsibility for his actions. His mother does him a disservice by saying "he's only eighteen years old."
Parents that try to cover up their kids wrong doing is a big problem for everyone
He’s only 18???? What 😅
In Australia he would have been breathalyzed automatically, unless he was a politician or his wife.
The mother did not need to be there. He is an adult. They knew the police. Something was wrong because he didn’t have to go to court.
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. He's going to grow up and act just like his mom.
Mama needs to cut those apron strings hes an adult and can apologize for himself 🙄
I bet you those pizzas he was supposed to deliver never got to the customers
Contractor: Oh I can fix that for $200
Customer: Then why are you charging me $1200?
Over parented, mommy apologizes for him.. 18 with mommy powdering his butt.
The defendant was totally drinking.
18 year old should have apologised
He doesn’t need his mum to do it for him
Yay! One I haven’t seen yet! 🎉
18 year old young men do NOT hang out all night without having drinks. He was drunk, 💯%
Mommy is his best customer! Big girl!!
He’s old enough to vote, to purchase a gun, to join the military, to take out a credit card, mom is delusional. He may be your baby but he’s a man who needs to grow up. You aren’t always going to be there to rescue him and he will end up in jail someday because of you.
"I''m a project manager" lmfao
Lmao he slipped up with that hanging out with friends…delivering pizzas was the story buddy
First of all, he had to be smoking or drinking or both. He is a grown adult at 18. If the mom don’t see that yet with the “he’s only 18” then he don’t need to be out til 5am. And the cop is clearly a friend of the mom or the family because nothing mysteriously disappears
Who the hell delivers pizza at 5:30 in the morning😂 dude was lit af
His shift ended at midnight. He was hanging out with friends.
3:00 “no real RECOGNITION of it..”. Our youth are SO smart. RECOLLECTION ***
Legend has it, his mother is still fighting his battles today.
It sounds like they didn't even ask him to do FSTs. Now I want to see the bodycam video.
Poor adult needed his mommy to get home out of jam like a baby. Grow up and take responsibility with out being directed too...
Obviously he was drinking
Only 18? So you can't apologize for yourself? Give me a break.
Exactly… the mother doesn’t know how to be a real parent!🤦♀️
I thought when an insurance company pays out they make you sign a document saying this you can't come back and try to get more. I also thought it covered the insured as well as the company.
Limited insurance and you can sue for the balance, at least in California, may be different in other states.
Oh is it all so shady with that cop friend.
Defendant mom knows someone in the police force cuz the tickets disappeared
Accidents happen but he's still responsible for the damages. Whether he was impaired or fell asleep, we don't know. Mom needs to butt out and have her son behave like an adult.
I completely agree with the judge and plaintiff! For some reason a lot of parents stopped teaching their children accountability and respect! This mother is one of them. She is setting her son up for disaster in life. This man (not a child) needs to act like a man!!
Occasionally check your insurance policy as it will state the amount covered for property damage and personal injury.
11:21 I don't care how old my children are if they Messed up, they will be the ones to take accountability and apologize and do their best to fix what they Did. I bet mommy is gonna pay it or she's gonna continue to make a big deal out of it rather than using this as a long overdue Lesson in being a man!! I cannot stand manbuns !! 🙄🤨🤢
Doug was appealing to his conscience to apologize to the lady and it went over both his and his moms heads 💀
When the judge goes into a “this happened to me too” story, is the verdict unbiased?
The mom “I’m one of those moms who think if you’re drinking, you deserve what you get.” Also, “he’s only 18, so I apologized for him”. 🤯🤦🏼♀️
Doug is very touchy feelie .
