Thanks so much for putting this together! I was considering getting one solely for Link's Awakening, especially since they used the original game rather than the DX version. I prefer the "Super Game Boy" palette they used here (the dreamy, unnatural green hues) rather than the colourized DX palette.

I bought one of those for my wife a year ago. It sits on the kitchen counter and every hour on the hour I hear link find a secret and every day and noon and midnight I watch as Link faces off against Gannon and saves Zelda. Then Link's adventure starts all over again from 'It's dangerous to go alone. Take this!' So cool!

I bought a similar thing called the "Bases Loaded: Pocket Player", it is basically a mini NES clone with the 4 Bases Loaded games, "Hoops", "Racket Attack", and "Goal".

If you hold down the A button for 5 seconds on the clock it will play the secret chime and it will play with full sounds and music and not hear the tick of the clock. Holding the A button for 5 seconds will unlock a secret in the other modes as well. On Zelda 1 hold the A button on the file select screen to start with all hearts. Zelda 2 will get you full health, magic, and all stats to max. Links awakening hold down A button even after the game starts until you hear the secret chime, and not only will you start with all hearts, but once you get your sword it will be the Lvl 2 sword. This only works with a new game file only. Vermin will unlock Mode C which it really challenging. Finally the timer will not only give you full sound like the clock, but it will put it in endless mode, so you can fight for as long as you can.

I am a huge Legend of Zelda fan and had planned on getting this for my collection. Keep doing what you do and I'm going to keep watching for the next video that you pop out

Vermin is really addicting. I found out about it through the Game & Watch Gallery gameboy games using my 3ds. I love it and its a huge reason why i want this. Great for my train rides to and from work. Another favorite of mine is Greenhouse. These games let me just zone out and i can honestly play forever lol. I hope Nintendo makes a huge Game & Watch collection someday for the Switch. I’d buy it in a heartbeat.

I thought: Good guy, Family man, Castlevania fan, WWF fan, (NES) Friday the 13th fan, he's probably a year or two younger than myself; so you've met 95% of my criteria immediately. Then, the other day, I thought; "I haven't seen anything from Tyler in awhile". It was a surprise to see this Zelda Game & Watch review, and your Dragon's Lair playthrough.
