Love your attitude Mary, I love your tree I would leave it up all year if I were you. It's so cool the way you guys are always doing something for each other, like Mary when you surprised Peter with putting the tree up and Peter you surprised Mary with using the big mug. Your so sweet together! 💕🌞✌️🇨🇦🎉💃🏻🙏🏼
I'm sorry that you're having a rough day. I know that you love Jesus from some of your other posts. It's refreshing to hear you guys talk about Jesus and not be ashamed. I always remember Jeremiah 29:11 for comfort. Thank you for sharing your daily journey with us❤
I'm convinced you all are angels full of playfulness, laughter and hope. I feel like I'm part of the family. Thanks for making us all feel that way. that there's always something to look forward to tomarrow. You are loved! Becky
Mary, my best friend passed from CF. She was on the lung transplant list for less than a month before she got to sick and was taken off. I know lung transplant isn't a option right now but please don't get too low before you get to that point. I love watching you and Peter and Ollie! You guys are always a part of my everyday! ❤❤
I'm so glad you guys decided to get another wheelchair 💖 I can walk short distances but with my chronic pain, balance issues, syncope, breathing issues & more I use a custom wheelchair whenever I leave the house and it saves me so many spoons! Although I do get the occasional funny look being a girl who can walk out of the car and drag my chair out of my trunk and roll around with my vogmask on lol but like you said, we've got to use the tools we've got!!!
Mandie Zangora definitely!! I think many don't understand that even though we might not need the wheelchair 24/7 it doesn't mean we're faking! I walk to and from my bathroom in my house without the use of an aid most days but any further I need my cane and then some days if I'm grocery shopping leaning on the cart helps but some days I need to use the store wheelchair so it depends but we def need to use the tools we have and shouldn't feel bad about it! I was at the store today and was using my cane bc it was a quick in and out and the 75yr old lady in front of me kept eyeing me and my cane n shaking her head disgusted Like I was faking(I'm 31yrs old but look younger n I'm 5ft) I definitely think so many just don't understand and that's okay as long as they're not rude!! thank you for sharing too, it's very comforting to know others use different devices depending on circumstances and how the day is. ❤
I use a wheelchair with Lupus because of my joints and back issues along with immune issues (energy) and it's definitely a truly awesome thing to use to conserve energy.
Tina Miller I don't have my own wheelchair yet but my Lupus is getting really bad so I use the motorized carts in stores that have them. Its too much to walk anymore.
Marie S & Marie - I got really lucky and my cousin's wife got a new wheelchair (she has MS) and is pretty tiny like myself so she had a custom wheelchair that fit me perfectly! Otherwise it would have been hit or miss on eBay because I definitely didn't want to spend thousands on a new one. I lost my insurance when I had to quit working and I pay for my treatments and medication out of pocket. But if I HAD to buy another wheelchair, I definitely would! It is SOO worth it! I don't take it if the stores have the motorized carts because well, I don't have to exert any energy and it frees my boyfriend up to push the cart instead of me. So I totally get it! But we like to go to reptile shows or go on weekend getaways and it ALWAYS goes with me along with forearm crutches (for places that aren't accessible). Unfortunately there are a lot still! Wow, 😳 I need to stop rambling now! Sorry Mary, Peter and Mandie Z! 😬
We're like twins. I'm in bed with a hot drink a pillow behind my back and a computer in front of me, trying really hard not to cough or choke. Bought a humidifier to try and help my lungs be productive. Pneumonia is going away, but at age 51, very slowly. ❤ Always!
I luv u all prayers everyday. I talk to god a lot but before I talk to him about my day and my prayers I talk to him about you guys! I'm sure he knows all too well who the FREYS are but just in case he forgets I remind him! He's the best! 😘
Just wondering.... anyone ever count how many times you two use the word "magical" in one day? It's super cute and a true testament to how truly positive your attitude is, in spite of some of your circumstances. Keep that bright light shining through!
Hello Mary and Peter, and bonjour from Quebec, Canada! Glad I found you guys, great videos, wonderful energy. I too live with a chronic illness (MS) and Mary, your resilience is very inspiring. I recently found myself thinking about you, Peter and Olie when I had some difficult MS symptoms and it actually gave me some peace, so thank you for that! Keep it up guys, you truly are making a difference by allowing us to join in your journey… Much love, Marie (yup, Mary’s rock in every languages!!!)
You are the bravest person I know! Mary, Peter and Oliver, you three make me so happy everyday! You are so full of life, and you can just feel the love oozing from you ❤️ keep fighting dear sweet Mary, I absolutely adore you
I've had some pretty hard days this year, but seeing you two pushing through life and celebrating every day has really helped me. :) I praise God I found your channel!
I wonder if one of those inflatable exercise balls would help. You could sit on it for core strength or lay across it to stretch out your back. I use it to gently bounce while I sit on it. It helps with my condition. They are $8 at Walmart. Also I think it would be cool to leave your amazing stick tree up for the winter. It's beautiful!
Mary, I have just recently started to watch your channel. I just want to tell you what a inspiration you and Peter are to me. I have not known anyone with CF. However to see how positive you are and how Peter supports you is truly amazing. I bet your parents are so proud of you. Stay strong love watching your vlogs.
Your so strong, I only wish I had half the strength you do. Having a condition that you know can't be cured can make you feel so out of control at times. Such an inspiration x
Good job Mary! I'm glad you decided to not let your illness dictate how you live your life! I made that same decision when I was 10 years old and I have never looked back since! I chose to live in the moment! I choose joy no matter what the day looks like! I'm glad you did the same!
"Doing what you can do" is exactly the right thing. I guess a whole lot of patience is needed as your body works hard to fight the infection(s). I wish you continued strength and more times of wellness than feeling sub-par! I'm fighting a different battle--my weight is way up, my blood sugar is way up, and I need to take charge and "do what I can do" with lifestyle changes, proper diet, exercise, weight training all to deal with Diabetes.
Mary I needed your positive outlook today, it was a rough one in the hospital for me, just plain not feeling well lately but you always encourage me and lift me up and give me a better perspective. Thank you. God is good.
Oh honey..I'm so sad to see this! I'm praying for you! You are the strongest woman I know! My Mom only has half of 1 lung functioning. My heart aches for you Mary. I say this out of Love. God Bless you! , Peter & Ollie!! 💌💌💌 Careful with milk products. it makes mucous which leads to coughing etc. Peter...you are an Angel! A saint! a true man of God! 😇 You look tired. I hope you can All get rest! Happy HEALTHY New Year!! 💌💌💌
My hugs and prayers are with you Mary to feel better and stronger. God has given you a special gift to keep on smiling and have faith even on the rough days.😘 and Peter, you are such a loving, caring, supportive husband, God has given you a special gift too. 😊 that big mug sure put a big smile on Mary, so thoughtful. Love and hugs to the 3 of you, see you tomorrow!
My goodness you poor dear.. I have been praying for you.. No fun to be miserable. but I give you such a great big hug for trying to be positive.. !!!...
I get so sad every time I see you cough, I so wish for you not to cough so much. I know its something you can't help. I do love to see you smile and see how much your husband loves you, He's awesome. You have been blessed. I wish for you and your husband to have a blessed year. Happy New Year.
Goodness gracious, I have watched a couple of your vids and what sweet people you are and you stay so positive when we can clearly see you persevering, and your sweetie of a husband is to be commended too! He is so supportive and loving but he looks very tired too! God grant you peace and serenity in 2017, his will be done.
+The Frey Life Thank you Mary for encouraging us all to fight positively and to do our very best!! I have to say I would be complaining about the constant iv(bc my body hates them very much) but you just look at it as " this is me fighting!" and it's helped me do that!! and same goes with walking even into the hospital for exercise, the other day we had to park far away and I was going to have my hubby drop me off bc I was hurting but I thought of you and thought well this will be the exercise I need bc I spend a lot of time in bed. I did have my husband pick me up after but I walked to the store n through the store! THANK YOU SO much for being an encouragement to me and all of us!!! 💜💜💜💜
Mary and Peter....you guys are such special, amazing people. I almost feel I know you and know so much about you and I have truly come to care about you guys. You inspire so many of this with various illnesses and realize that we need to always focus on the good and that is how we are we are going to live productive lives. Sure it is ok to feel sad or angry or feel sorry for ourselves....but as long as it's only once in a while because ESP with the Freylife we are always able to see someone around us who doing worse off or feeling more down or feeling support etc. And the world truly needs more Peter Frey's around as he seems to be the most genuinely incredibly support husband that one could ever ask for. It is truly such a blessing to be able to share these ups and downs with amazing beautiful people. God Bless and i hope that 2017 is an exciting and healthy year for you both. Xoxo
It just hit me that you are connected to the pump at night. That made me sad, but then I saw your sparkling ✨ tree and I smiled. I hope your tree makes you happy! I hope you get the tests results back so you can be starting on treatment soon for that. Thank you for being an inspiration. I know it seems weird to you, but you truly are choosing joy. And in that I can find some joy with you! Luv you all! Happy New Year! 🎆🎉
You definitely have to learn to put your doubts about using the wheelchair out of your mind. It makes life so much more easier and more enjoyable!! It takes swallowing your pride a bit for sure and getting over any self-consciousness you might have about it but it's worth it!! 😃
Both of you are my inspiration everyday, I live in pain daily and watching you when I wake up just helps me get through my day. I wish you guys a happy new year ☺️
ChronicSimmer I'm so sorry you are in pain on a daily basis lovely. I know pain very well, it's not easy and can suck the life out of you. Keep on fighting, you are so worth it . I'm hoping the New Year will bring you some relief. Much love 💜🎊
I have to tell you, watching you Im super ashamed of myself. Im a smoker, whose flirted with quiting, who knows she has to, and just finds a new excuse to procrastinate it all the time. I watched your videos, seeing you struggle to breathe, and doing so much to help your body fight, and here i sit abusing the healthy lungs I was given, I was thinking you seem like such a sweet hearted girl, Im even betting you wouldnt hold it against me as much as I hold it against me, but I do want to say as I watch, you inspire me to want to be different, both you and Peter seem to have to push so hard each day, and cant afford to have a day to just say- heck with it all, lets just do we want today, yet you come out here smiling, laughing and encouraging all of us. Your both God sent! Lots of love and prayers for you to feel better in this new year, 2017!!
You should leave the little tree in your bedroom up permanently!! It looks so relaxing. Happy New Years to you and the Frey Life family! Sending prayers and love to you.
Watching from New Zealand. I am so impressed by your attitude and joy in life. My lung issues seem so small compared with what you struggle with daily. Blessings to you and your family.
Happy New Year to the Frey Life and Frey Life family! Hope you feel well enough to celebrate with Peter and Ollie tonight, Mary. I hope to celebrate with my wifey tonight, even if it is just laying in bed or on the couch and watching the ball drop. You 3 are in my prayers. Hopefully find out this coming week, if I am going to have to have surgery or not to have a shunt put in to help relieve pressure of the spinal fluid and hopefully reduce my headaches.
MARY I MUST SAY I THINK YOU HAVE ONE OF THE BEST!!!!!! HUSBAND AROUND. HE IS SUCH A TOWER OF STRENGTH FOR YOU. I KNOW ME AND A BUNCH OF OTHER PEOPLE THAT WATCH THE VLOG LOVE 💘 YOU AND PETER. HAPPY NEW YEAR🎋
I'm glad you are doing your best! I'm very proud of your positive attitude Mary, and that you always set great examples for us:) Peter, you are so supportive of Mary, and it's so cute whenever you push her in wheelchairs and whenever you make her smile:)
You both are in my prayers! Perhaps a consideration for the new intro.....when you were living with friends, Mary spent time outdoors. I love the footage of her lying on the driveway with beautiful fall leaves. Peter, your sermons are outstanding!
we have the same stove and oven as you guys. I'm receiving my plasma immune cells soon . I can feel the side effects I always feel before hand. You guys always help me feel better when I'm feeling pretty yucky . I just wanted to say that you will be in my prayers. You guys have helped over 100,000 people.
Happy new year, I hope this year will be healthy and happy. I'm on my way to work, even though I don't feel like working on the holiday, but when I see what you deal with every single day...well, I need to stop complaining and count my blessings. I'm really praying for you Mary, I hope you feel better soon.
You have such a wonderful supportive husband. I would love to hear about his work and school during a video. Love your quote about the tools. Can you explain more about being hooked up like always? What type of medication! Love your signing. Blessings to you. - Lisa
God bless you! You are doing a great job.. keep fighting....!!!! don't let no numbers put you down.... your to beautiful of a person to be down...!!!! my kids and I love watching you everyday !!!
Congratulations on the new milestone. That is so exciting! I'm so sorry you still aren't feeling well after all of this. I'm sure your body is still not up to par since your surgery so that probably isn't helping much with your numbers. Hopefully the meds & everything that you are doing, will take ahold & get you feeling better very soon.
I am going to have to look up these Scandy (probably misspelled that) shakes for my son! He is blind, non-verbal, and severely autistic. He was adopted from Ukraine about three years ago and he absolutely refuses to eat anything solid. We have been using Ensure; which is not ideal at all!! But those shakes sound amazing!! Keep fighting Mary! You are doing awesome!
I'm sorry the news isn't great but I really admire your strength. I hope so much that 2017 improves for you. Sending lots of love, and happy New Years!
Mary you and Peter are always in our thoughts and prayers. We wish you both the very best for 2017!! May God's everlasting love grant you peace and comfort. God Bless! PS our little Miss Purrl says, " Hi Ollie"!
my husband laughed also, and thank you, as he is like Peter the caregiver... and any laughs are so so welcome. He deserves them all. But you said it was a "Sticky tree" and he laughed and said "is it STICKY because things stick to it, or is it STICKY as it is made of STICKS?" I was "I don't know, I think it is STICKS?" But he was "We need a sticky tree!" You made his day (and mine) with the laughter.
I was so excited to see you on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation page when researching information about a Port-a-Cath Mary's lovely face popped up on my screen and it was a video about Peter accessing your Port ☺️ 💙
Mary, you are such a sweetheart! You are SO wise! Everything you say makes so much sense and I know you are really helping others by being so transparent in the vlog. And Peter, well, you're just Husband of the Year! I love you both and hope i can meet you someday. Happy New Year!
use the chair whenever you need to. I have spina bifida and walk with a crutch. for awhile I was hardheaded and didn't feel comfortable using walking aides or a wheel chair but now I use whatever makes it easier for me and what will help me enjoy it the most.
Merry maybe your # were down cause of the slow growth of that new sruff. You're always in my prayers! I hope you get started on meds for that soon. You are one of the strongest people I know! And also Peter! I know how hard it must be for the two of you!
Sending good thoughts and sorry your numbers are down! So great that you can overcome and still have an enjoyable day. Hope you all have a happy new year!
I'm not sure if this is a stupid question, but Mary does your throat ever get irritated? And I really hope that you feel better, but I love how positive and happy you and Peter are! You guys always brighten my day!
Could you add food flavoring (like peppermint extract) to the hot chocolates? That might help your appetite. Also, could you do a vlog where you show all the meds you take and health related things you do in a day? I love your vlogs, but I think it would be cool to see a vlog that has a particular focus once in a while (not often). Hope you feel better tomorrow Mary, but if you don't, just keep fighting and I"ll keep cheering.
1200 calories for hot chocolate - that is impressive!!! I am trying to lose weight myself so that is basically my entire daily allotment of calories right there!!! Well, we all fight our own battles, whatever they look like, and all we can do is our best! I'm so impressed by your optimism and grace, Mary. Sometimes you try your hardest and our bodies don't always reflect that, which can be super frustrating. To be honest, that is sort of how I feel in my weight loss battle at the moment! I have a couple of medical conditions that make it extremely difficult for me to lose weight. But I guess you have two options - either give up, or pick yourself up and keep trying while knowing that you're doing the right thing. So thank you so much for showing me that, and for inspiring me to keep going. I hope you and Peter and Ollie have a very happy new year!!!!
Mary you always keep a brave and smiling face regardless of what you are dealing with; I along with a mulitude of health issues also have severe asthma, copd and chronic bronchitis; so I understand about the coughing, struggle to breathe; seeing you in clinic reminded me of when I am having a severe asthma attack and it feels like no, zippo of air going in; and gasping for air. I am so sorry you deal with this, but so amazed of how you always keep positive. I do wonder on 2 things tho; that can maybe help you a little. Instead of the wheel chair if you have one that needs to be pushed; what about like a mobility scooter? They have small travel ones and I know for me they have come in very handy not only for pain issues I deal with, but also when I just can't breathe and this cold weather; especially with the flip flops of mother natures cold and warmers days are very rough for me; or even the humidity from the shower. The other thing since you struggle to gain or maintain weight and I have seen done for other CF patients and other lung diseases since your body works so hard to breathe, or for our hearts to pump is having a feeding tube (I know; not a pleasant thought) but could be away of getting additional nutrients, and calories into your system; especially for these really, really tough days. (I don't have this problem, but did as a young girl and was thought upon, I just never got to that point) and now; I am way, way on the other side of the spectrum in regards to weight; I need to lose a bunch.) But, is a thought. God Bless you both and Oliver too. Happy New Years.
Love your attitude Mary, I love your tree I would leave it up all year if I were you. It's so cool the way you guys are always doing something for each other, like Mary when you surprised Peter with putting the tree up and Peter you surprised Mary with using the big mug. Your so sweet together! 💕🌞✌️🇨🇦🎉💃🏻🙏🏼

Mandie Zangora ugh I wish I wasn't so stubborn and had that mindset! 😩 So many times I regret not using it and end up paying for it.

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know you keep it as positive as possible and that's a great tool toward recovery, or feeling the best you can.
You can fight the fight - you have so much support around you - bless you all
Both of you are truly an inspiration to all! Thank you both for being you and doing what you do....Ollie too🐾😻❤✝️
So thankful for Trikafta!!! The difference in you now (Oct.1, 2020) and then is amazing,!!!!!
Go Mary! Go Mary! You got this! Keep kicking CF's butt. 🎉🙌🏻💚
I'm one minute in, and already crying! Sweet Mary, we're CHEERING YOU ON!!!!
You should leave the little tree in your bedroom up permanently!! It looks so relaxing. Happy New Years to you and the Frey Life family! Sending prayers and love to you.
I admire both of you. Through everything you always have a positive attitude. God surely is working through you.
DudeInAMotorhome Happy New Year 🎉
MARY I MUST SAY I THINK YOU HAVE ONE OF THE BEST!!!!!!
Prayers for rest and feeling better and stronger. Joy and blessings to you in the new year. Love!
You have such a wonderful supportive husband. I would love to hear about his work and school during a video. Love your quote about the tools. Can you explain more about being hooked up like always? What type of medication! Love your signing. Blessings to you. - Lisa
I totally feel for you Mary. So glad you have Peter and Ollie by your side so you can have a bit of out of the house time :-)
Stay strong Mary! We all love you.
Luv that tree! you can use that year round as a nice night light.
Praying for you and your husband.
We're all here to love and support you. Hope your condition improves this 2017 and you are surrounded by ❤️
I was so excited to see you on the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation page when researching information about a Port-a-Cath Mary's lovely face popped up on my screen and it was a video about Peter accessing your Port ☺️ 💙
I absolutely love you guys. I hope to find a companion one day that is so sweet to me like Peter is to you
Keep on keeping on Mary! Praying for your best health for the new year!
Merry maybe your # were down cause of the slow growth of that new sruff. You're always in my prayers! I hope you get started on meds for that soon. You are one of the strongest people I know! And also Peter! I know how hard it must be for the two of you!
Mary you are the braves person on the word
We're praying for you
You are an amazing young lady and I admire you for your positivity.
Sending good thoughts and sorry your numbers are down! So great that you can overcome and still have an enjoyable day. Hope you all have a happy new year!
Thank you for always being an inspiration to me. I wish the Frey Life and the "People" a great 2017.
Stella Lovelady They have a day in the life of a CF patient vlog similar to what youre explaining :)
I'd leave the little tree up all the time it's so cute. Prayers for you
I enjoy watching you. Both of you are truly an inspiration! Thank you for putting yourselves out there.
I love to see you enjoying the little things....like that awesome mug!
Keeping a positive outlook is so important when your not feeling well. God bless you and a Happy Healthy new year to you and Peter.
Happy New Year Peter, Mary, Ollie & all of the 100k plus Frey Life family!! Cheering on from Chicago!
Happy New Year you three....Hoping the new year will be full of better health, and many exciting adventures. Keep smiling and being joyful.
Hi Mary! Can you guys possibly vlog while shopping? I love watching your vlogs and watching you overcome such a hard thing. Stay strong!
Both of you are an inspiration.
Happy new year Frey life family!
As always, love and prayer!
Congrats on reaching the 100,000 mark...that is so wonderful!
HAPPY NEW YEAR 2017!!
🤗🎉🎵💖🎶🎺🌞☄🎉🎵💖🎺🤗
we are now in 2017. HAPPY NEW YEAR THE FREY LIFE :) XX ❤
I am so sorry you deal with this, but so amazed of how you always
keep positive.
