I feel stuck. My husband has filed for divorce, and I don't want it at all. No matter what. I choose forgiveness and love. But when I pray, I know I'm praying for his salvation because it would benefit me. I feel hopeless. How can I pray for my husband's salvation and not do it for my own selfishness?
I'm sorry. Wish I had an answer for you, but I will pray that you have peace, strength and wisdom.
Sometimes, it's what God want to do in us before he works on that other person or even the situation, we have to keep on eyes on the author and the perfector of our faith, and let HIM work it out. Praying for you

Tammy, please consider watching Dan Mohler: Personal and marriage testimony. He was filing for divorce etc. May the Father of all comfort, comfort you with His comfort during this trial. Lean into him. Be led by the Holy Spirit in every aspect. Grow in faith regardless. All of heaven's love and blessings to you and yours.

God doesn't want to answer prayers sometimes even if it's for healing and deliverance. In my experience I prayed to God to set my son free and up to now my son is too anxious to attend school. This has been the case for two years. How long can someone badger God on the same issues before any satisfaction comes of it? I'm really frustrated. I came to God with desperate needs which have not been met. My son needs an education. So many pastors, apostles and prophets have prayed and nothing worked. I feel like me and my son are nobodys.

And my other son Houston Sr. And Misty to stop drinking for good already to stop doing drugs for good already to stop getting wasted all night long till the next morning . Pastor Greg please pray for my sons and my DAUTHER-IN-LAWS to stop been so stubborn to stop been so hardheaded to stop been so rebellious to stop been so disobedient to stop been so dishonest . Please pray for my sons and DAUTHER-IN-LAWS to get closer to God . They need God in their lives. I know God is answering my prayers but my healing is taking so long to come.

You are not missing anything.. Afyer 35 years a Christian I have realised that God rarely answers prayers. Kind of like, you get saved then basically left to your own devices until its time for the grave. Don't buy into all the excuses you hear like you have sin in your life etc.. everyone has sin in their lives.. so just do your best.
Our prayers not answered for many reasons.
1. That person will later fall away from his faith cause he was too bless.
2. Others will get jealous and they will go off sining and they will lose their souls.
3. God knows how our close love ones and relatives will get.
4. Being tested even though you don't know what satan talked about with God Almighty.
5. Being punished for what that saint did or said.
6. Our important prayers not answered in this lifetime but the next eternal life with Christ when he reigns.
7. Jesus and God the Father himself testing you.
If our important prayers are not answered then Jesus and God the Father are allowing his children to slip away from his hands, causing his own children Not to be holy cause prayers not answered and they are both responsible for their souls. More saints fall away when prayers are not answered. More saints stay holy when prayers are answered and they stay saved. Speaking on their behalf Jesus who are like me as you go to the Father and speak on our behalf. They made me insane without knowing.

Praying for more followers on social media is a sin? This is fascinating.
I like Greg a lot but he needs to stop making excuses for God not answering prayers. God will do what He does when He wants.
Unconfessed sin? That means God will not answer anyones prayers. This is more of a guilt trip message. If I took this message at face value I would have to assume my earthly father is more responsive even though he knows my flaws..
