Are the ports separated from the town like they are in Caribbean ports? Thank you for the informative video.

In Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway you dock right in town. Several other Alaska ports too. Thank you for your comments and thank you for subscribing to our channel.

There was an interesting museum at the end of Creek Street(across the Creek). The Tongass Historical Museum.

Watch our videos! LOL. What we do in the ports really depends on the weather for us. Ketchikan, Skagway, Juneau and Victoria are all very walkable. You can, we like Creek Street best. In Skagway, there are trails on both sides of town and straight up to the gold rush cemetery. Skagway is very small and you can see the whole town in just a few minutes. And you know we like to walk around, maybe be up to the whale sculpture. Mount Roberts Tramway is nice if it’s not raining. In Victoria, we like to walk left on Dallas Street from the port. That will take you up around fisherman‘s wharf and straight into downtown. After we’re finished in downtown, we like to go back through Beacon Hill Park to the ship. In Glacier Bay, you may want to get up early. The ship enters around 6 AM. And by 3 PM it’s out of the bay. Thank you for your comments and thank you for subscribing to our channel.

Considering booking NCL Encore next May (late May). Heard the ship docks far away from Ketchikan downtown. How much time is needed for a quick walk around town, lumberjack show and have some crabs? Thanks!

NCL docks in Ward Cove, about a 20 minute bus ride from the main part of Ketchikan. Once there, the lumberjack show is about an hour. Creek Street is a short walk from the lumberjack show. It takes about 10 or 15 minutes to walk along Creek Street. Then if you go back to Front Street, a 10 minute walk from Creek Street, that’s where the restaurants are. We don’t know how fast you eat. Three or four hours should be enough time to do everything. Thank you for your comments and thank you for subscribing to our channel.

You mentioned the cannabis store. Note: I'm seeing on other video's that cruise ships strictly prohibit bringing any cannabis on board.

That is true. We point out many of the stores we pass by in port. Of course, the ship has little control of what you do while in port. Thank you for your comments and thank you for subscribing to our channel.
