What I love about Caroline's workouts is that they're supposed to be difficult- when do you them if you struggle to continue with an exercise or finish the workout it's OK, its not supposed to be easy and even Caroline has to take a couple seconds to regain her breath at times.
It's hard for sure! I had to pause a time or two but that just shows that I am pushing myself hard enough to need a rest before continuing on. The strength is in the struggle!!
EXACTLY! Also its not a competition to see how fast you can go or keep up with Caroline. “it’s You .vs. YOU!” you have to push yourself to your own capability but SAFELY😅
This is the only home workout where I have seen an improved definition in my legs and believe me I have followed lots of home vdos. What I love about Caroline's program is that it is simple, creative and not at all monotonous. All the pointers in the introduction are clear and precise. I truly enjoyed the Complex session and beware, the knee to squat is a tough one and the calf raises will sneak up to make those muscles squirm!
Hi Melinda, yes, it's also great to see everybody's motivation. It's a genuine desire to workout and feel good on a personal level and strive for progression and not a hangup about absolutely having to loose weight and no faddy diets involved.
Carolines workouts are actually INTENSE, every workout is extremely creative and unique. It never feels like I’m doing the same thing and it always feels challenging. I’m so thankful to be able to workout at home and feel like I accomplished the same exhaustion as I would at the gym. I’m ready for more!!!

I never ever thought you could build strong solid legs unless you subjected them to some gruelling Barbell squats, coupled with unrelenting sets on the leg press machine. Then came Caroline and EPIC 1, and the gains rolled in. Hats off to you Caroline. A cut above the rest💪🏾💪🏾💯.

This is my favorite lower body workout of EPIC II so far! The exercises were so basic so my brain didn't have to focus on the muscles to work the right muscle group. And it was so challenging! I don't feel like I did any of the movements wrong you know lol Thank you Caroline, now I need a shower

I just finished up with the workout and I would say, never underestimate the burn one single dumbbell can inflict when combined with Caroline. I enjoyed the workout. I have a love-hate relationship with complexes as they are super challenging+interesting and also at the same time they inflict lots of burn 🔥 Was it only me who felt my upper body burning too?
@@iamdevanshkalra ironically, I always feel leg day the most in my traps - I try and roll my shoulders back, but I think the struggle of my traps to keep my shoulders up against the pull of the dumbbells will always give me this problem! Also, I could not swap the dumbbells from RDL to squats during the finisher b/c of my arms, so that's something LMAOO
I am 16 and very much a fitness beginner but love these workouts. Always feel I am gaining muscle but can go at my own pace. Have a great febuary everyone
It amazes me how much cardio is incorporated into these strength sessions- always feels like a 2 for 1! Really liked the 3 minute blocks- felt like I couldn’t go a second longer. Once again- terrific leg day!
This was the most challenging leg day that I have ever done! I'm so proud of myself for pushing through with 10 kg dumbbells. Thank you Caroline for making working out so much fun
Before the workout: feeling strong, today would be a good day to uplevel my weights from my 6kg to 7.5kg Halfway through the first complex: wondering what I was thinking, but not turning back now After the workout: soaked in sweat, a bit shaky but feeling good, thanks to Caroline and this program for making me want to keep challenging myself 😊 The goal now is to get to 10 kg, progressing slowly but steadily 🙌
I feel this! The first few circuits crawled by. I thought a time or two that I couldn't do the entire workout but before I knew it, it was the burnout. Not gonna lie, I was pumped when this workout was over but I am so glad I didn't give up & finished it!
Day 22 of Epic II program and a brand new month are happening today. I am totally addicted to the Epic Program, don’t want it to finish 🥺!!!. When you wanna quit but you also wanna be EPIC 💖 This was by any mean the hardest, most challenging workout I ever did in 31 years of life! I'm dripping in sweat, my knee sleeves and sweat towel are drenched 🤩 but quitting is no longer an option for me, thank you Caroline 💖

I had my period during this workout and felt soooo out of breath, but I feel so good. I've noticed that I have less intense cramps during my period when I do more intense exercises. It's hard to muster up the energy, but that's where pre-workout comes in

Totally agree with you Corina! I wake up excited to look at my notification each morning for my workout. Epic ll has been my favorite workout program I have ever done. And I always enjoyed all of Caroline's workouts before that. We are so lucky to have her as our trainer!

It was so hard, I almost quit (would have been the first time with an EPIC session ever), but then I saw the halfway sign and it gave me more strength so I could finnish! Thank you Caroline for these amazing, challenging programs, you are a great motivation!
hi everyone, god bless you'll for this good vibe, I gave up by the 70% mark I couldn't finish (ashamed of myself). by the 60% mark I started vibrating more than a nokia 3310 and by the 69% I started seing star by the 70% mark it was some cute angels mixing up with the start :) hhhhh. got to redo it next time. keep up the good work and your heads up. proud of you all. thank you caroline, for the exercse and this space.
Had to cut the complex of lateral lunges doing one set of each drill. In the first sets of the program I also experimented a sudden middle back pain. But I think is because the lack of appropiate rest

Omg this was really intense. Intense on the legs, intense on the cardio, and intense on the grip ! Managed to do it with my 20 lbs but i would'nt have been able to use higher weights. I am really loving Epic 2 !!

Hi Kathy, I have done it this evening and it was certainly difficult than other leg workouts from Caroline. I burned 726 calories and used 5 kg dumbbells only and my heart rates were i. Red and yellow zone throughout.
Epic II day 22 done ✅ WOW wow wow that was super challenging 😲😵 I absolutely loved loved loved that workout - the huge endorphin rush at the end was real!! I managed to use my 10kg dumbbells throughout, so am feeling proud of myself. 💪💪 Thank you Caroline for pushing me out of my comfort zone and challenging me to continually up my game and strive for improvement! ❤️

I like the 3 min complex duration. When they get too long, I get concerned about my mind wondering and becoming complacent to what I am doing. Great workout today! Loved the challenge!

She is also the one to decrease your weights whenever she introduces complexes. 😅 I did the first complex with 20lbs but my forearms screamed at me to go down to 15lbs. I used 15lbs for the rest of the complexes but used 20lbs for the finisher. 💪 Nervous about the rows tomorrow. 😳
Omg, yes. Sometimes I wonder why I’m getting weaker, but the workouts are just getting tougher!! I’ve been up to 20 for most leg exercises but also had to use my 15lbers today. The 3 min complexes were perfect.

@@thyiff2219 oh so many rows. I found the rows in the plank position most difficult, mostly because holding the weights that way usually bothers my hands. I was able to use my 20lb weights though! How about you??
@@briana-kb5ph Hey I managed 20lbs also! 🙌 For the renegade rows, i had to use my yoga block and workout gloves for cushion. Even when Caroline alternated her arms, I still did one arm at a time. The yoga block really helps with the renegade rows. 😃
im 19 and holy moly i cannot believe we've just done day 22!! Time is flyingggg and i am completely in love and in awe of caroline and these workouts. I love the fact its something different everyday - i've never been one to work out my upper body but i am loving my strong shoulders and biceps!!
The last circuit and the circuit of 5 reps each was my favourite! In a Caroline workout your only mindset is keep going, it'll end and nothing else. Everytime I am amazed by myself. This is every single portion of the legs, you are a genius! Thank you ❤️

Day 22- Omggg this is definitely the hardest leg day till now 🥵 it was a difficult for me...but I still completed it💪the dumbells I used are 7.5kg each...kneel squat set litreally furstated me so much I almost cried but still finished it 🥺🔥

I started using a bit more weight 2 years ago to keep strength in the long term as I get older.I am doing the workouts at my level.I feel there is a lot in these programs that is helping me to keep at it. Thank you

It wasn't my best workout, but complexes are tough on the grip, the cardio, and the mind! I did it with 27 pounds (12 kg) because I wanted to focus more on strength :-) make it your own!

The gym is closed in our country and as a former athlete, I had an utterly depressing period of time dealing with it and ultimately stopped training. When I found you, I also found my purpose to train and improve again. NOW I WANT TO BE STRONG AND POWERFUL AS YOU. You are some days the only reason I feel good about myself. Wow-za!🥵🥵 That was a sweat fest! Soo challenging! Soo killer! My legs are gonna hate me later😳🤣. Lots of self-talk through this one telling myself I can keep going, that my body is capable of this. And I proved myself right👊🏻. You are wrong again mind! Haha! The kneel to squat and kneel to glute squeeze were definitely the fastest fatiguing combinations for me!🥵 I always love the RDL combinations. Loved the finisher too..one of my favorites!!😊 Definitely another Epic workout Caroline!! Stick with it everyone! You can do it..you can finish!!
I did it with 12.5 kg dumbbell's but that was not wise decision. I was ok till 1st 10 minutes then it was really hard to even hold the dumbbells for 3 continuous minutes. Had to pause video which I regret. *Suggestions* : Use a bit lighter dumbbells to maintain reps and overall form. It will really burn even with 5 kg's. This is the beauty of Caroline workout.

This is archived in my Fave Folder! I loved this so much and will definitely be repeating this in the future! I challenged my self to use my 25lb weights since the complexes were just 3 min. Super super challenging but got it done and My legs feel rock solid 😁 I loved starting the routine with suitcase squats (my personal fave) and loved the RDL complex too. The two kneel to squat complexes were definitely the hardest for me today. I love to hate that move 🤣 great work Caroline and every one out that attempting this today!
Well Monday always seems to be a good day. Really feel with Caroline you can push but at your own pace. Today was another wee milestone by using 15kg DB. So managed it all but at a slighly slower pace but with good form. Really did kill the forearms holding 30kg for 3 mins is no joke. Legs that used to be so week but although they burn they are definitely strengthening and getting some definition . Enjoyed that 👌 😉.

I never ever thought you could build strong solid legs unless you subjected them to some gruelling Barbell squats, coupled with unrelenting sets on the leg press machine. Then came Caroline and EPIC 1, and the gains rolled in. Hats off to you Caroline. A cut above the rest💪🏾💪🏾💯.

This is my favorite lower body workout of EPIC II so far! The exercises were so basic so my brain didn't have to focus on the muscles to work the right muscle group. And it was so challenging! I don't feel like I did any of the movements wrong you know lol Thank you Caroline, now I need a shower

I just finished up with the workout and I would say, never underestimate the burn one single dumbbell can inflict when combined with Caroline. I enjoyed the workout. I have a love-hate relationship with complexes as they are super challenging+interesting and also at the same time they inflict lots of burn 🔥 Was it only me who felt my upper body burning too?

@@iamdevanshkalra ironically, I always feel leg day the most in my traps - I try and roll my shoulders back, but I think the struggle of my traps to keep my shoulders up against the pull of the dumbbells will always give me this problem!
Also, I could not swap the dumbbells from RDL to squats during the finisher b/c of my arms, so that's something LMAOO
I am 16 and very much a fitness beginner but love these workouts. Always feel I am gaining muscle but can go at my own pace. Have a great febuary everyone

Halfway through the first complex: wondering what I was thinking, but not turning back now
After the workout: soaked in sweat, a bit shaky but feeling good, thanks to Caroline and this program for making me want to keep challenging myself 😊 The goal now is to get to 10 kg, progressing slowly but steadily 🙌
The first 4 minutes felt like an eternity, but it got easier after that. this was a challenging routine for sure, and I love it. Thank you, Caroline!
I feel this! The first few circuits crawled by. I thought a time or two that I couldn't do the entire workout but before I knew it, it was the burnout. Not gonna lie, I was pumped when this workout was over but I am so glad I didn't give up & finished it!

I had my period during this workout and felt soooo out of breath, but I feel so good. I've noticed that I have less intense cramps during my period when I do more intense exercises. It's hard to muster up the energy, but that's where pre-workout comes in

Had to cut the complex of lateral lunges doing one set of each drill. In the first sets of the program I also experimented a sudden middle back pain. But I think is because the lack of appropiate rest

Then I discovered your channel, and in 3 months time (from Epic I) i have been losing weight and I am overcoming my body insecurity. not only that, but I gained strength and confidence. you are Godsend! Omg this was really intense. Intense on the legs, intense on the cardio, and intense on the grip ! Managed to do it with my 20 lbs but i would'nt have been able to use higher weights. I am really loving Epic 2 !!

Hi Kathy, I have done it this evening and it was certainly difficult than other leg workouts from Caroline. I burned 726 calories and used 5 kg dumbbells only and my heart rates were i. Red and yellow zone throughout.

✅2/1 - Caroline is the one to help you increase your weights. She is also the one to decrease your weights whenever she introduces complexes. 😅 I did the first complex with 20lbs but my forearms screamed at me to go down to 15lbs. I used 15lbs for the rest of the complexes but used 20lbs for the finisher. 💪 Nervous about the rows tomorrow. 😳

Omg, yes. Sometimes I wonder why I’m getting weaker, but the workouts are just getting tougher!! I’ve been up to 20 for most leg exercises but also had to use my 15lbers today. The 3 min complexes were perfect.

@@thyiff2219 oh so many rows. I found the rows in the plank position most difficult, mostly because holding the weights that way usually bothers my hands. I was able to use my 20lb weights though! How about you??
@@briana-kb5ph Hey I managed 20lbs also! 🙌 For the renegade rows, i had to use my yoga block and workout gloves for cushion. Even when Caroline alternated her arms, I still did one arm at a time. The yoga block really helps with the renegade rows. 😃
im 19 and holy moly i cannot believe we've just done day 22!! Time is flyingggg and i am completely in love and in awe of caroline and these workouts. I love the fact its something different everyday - i've never been one to work out my upper body but i am loving my strong shoulders and biceps!!
LOVED this workout! Really got into it. Was mostly able to keep up with Caroline's pace but slowed down when I needed to without stopping. 😊

Omggg this is definitely the hardest leg day till now 🥵 it was a difficult for me...but I still completed it💪the dumbells I used are 7.5kg each...kneel squat set litreally furstated me so much I almost cried but still finished it 🥺🔥

Wow-za!🥵🥵 That was a sweat fest! Soo challenging! Soo killer! My legs are gonna hate me later😳🤣. Lots of self-talk through this one telling myself I can keep going, that my body is capable of this. And I proved myself right👊🏻. You are wrong again mind! Haha! The kneel to squat and kneel to glute squeeze were definitely the fastest fatiguing combinations for me!🥵 I always love the RDL combinations. Loved the finisher too..one of my favorites!!😊 Definitely another Epic workout Caroline!! Stick with it everyone! You can do it..you can finish!!
I did it with 12.5 kg dumbbell's but that was not wise decision. I was ok till 1st 10 minutes then it was really hard to even hold the dumbbells for 3 continuous minutes. Had to pause video which I regret. *Suggestions* : Use a bit lighter dumbbells to maintain reps and overall form. It will really burn even with 5 kg's. This is the beauty of Caroline workout.

This is archived in my Fave Folder! I loved this so much and will definitely be repeating this in the future! I challenged my self to use my 25lb weights since the complexes were just 3 min. Super super challenging but got it done and My legs feel rock solid 😁 I loved starting the routine with suitcase squats (my personal fave) and loved the RDL complex too. The two kneel to squat complexes were definitely the hardest for me today. I love to hate that move 🤣 great work Caroline and every one out that attempting this today!
Well Monday always seems to be a good day. Really feel with Caroline you can push but at your own pace. Today was another wee milestone by using 15kg DB. So managed it all but at a slighly slower pace but with good form. Really did kill the forearms holding 30kg for 3 mins is no joke. Legs that used to be so week but although they burn they are definitely strengthening and getting some definition . Enjoyed that 👌 😉.

I was afraid of stairs for three days after the last leg workout. The ache is gone now and I am ready for this workout! Thanks for the challenging complexes, Caroline. :)
