I noticed that the original Spider-Man balloon made its debut in 1987, the same year Willard Scott announced his first parade, and the balloon's last appearance at Herald Square was in 1997, the same year Willard announced his last Macy's Parade. I guess in 1998 the balloon didn't want Matt Lauer commenting so he sprung a leak so he didn't have to March down to Herald Square. I guess if they brought back Willard Scott, the original Spider-Man balloon will also return. MAKE IT HAPPEN MACY'S!!!!
This year, Marvel and Macy’s should make a new Spider-Man balloon to celebrate Spidey’s 60th Anniversary and to coincide with the upcoming movie “Across The Spiderverse” (The balloon should be Santa Hat Spidey like in the Christmas album cover in Into The Spiderverse)
And that concludes Season 2, and I think Spidey was a perfect choice to end it off with. Highlights for me including Cheesasaurus Rex, Pink Panther, The Rugrats, Kung Fu Panda, Eruptor, Barney, Shrek, the 1-Off characters, Blue, Toothless, and this Spidey Season Finale. With that said, I really enjoyed this season, hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving, and enjoy the parade tomorrow morning! :D

The parade might not have balloons this year due to concerns about the weather and the wind. Update: The balloons did fly but were lowered close to the ground. Only 2 balloons failed to finish the route. Ronald McDonald and Love flies up to the Sky as both suffered damage from the winds.
