Hi Damian, I don't know if this is of help but as a graphite artist to make graphite powder I brake a graphite block into chunks with a hammer and then put them in a pepper grinder this is very quick and easy. Thanks for a very interesting video.
@@kevinwibawa7117 The powder is generally used to cover larger area's or to be used wifh brushes and stumps to create different effects. It also gives you the ability to use different grades for example I use 3B and 9B made from blocks of the same make of pencils that I use as then they match. This gives the ability to be able to cover larger area's but as you get to more detailed ones you can switch back to a pencil of the same grade for more control and the transition will be seamless. This is the reason why I personally always choose to make the powder but other people could have a different opinion.
can you also make it with colored pencils?

that's good, but it will be a "not pure" graphite, because pencil lead contain not only graphite but clay or other things as well...
