Just noticed that all the other enemies are just kinda watching the fight play out like some kind of kung fu movie.
In reality the other wielders are fighting them off.
I love how at 3:45 the music transitions PERFECTLY from Wave of Darkness I to II so SEAMLESSLY.
This boss has way too much health for as simple it was.
Had to make it dangerous enough to merit its cutscene power, I suppose
I disagree. Shadows are weak, a million of them wouldn't necessarily deal a lot of damage, just take a lot. I feel like it makes sense for the attacks to be weak, but the health to be so high
8 months late and you CLEARLY have not tried Lvl 1 Crit. This shit is so hard.

@@kichu03 This boss and the vulture of rage or whatever from Pirates of the Caribbean was hard. Everything else was just "Meh"
Still nice music though, and the transitioning to second phase ost feels nice.

i mean, he finished anti-aqua with ars arcanum's final hit, and the darkubes with stun impact, and this one too.
hope he does not get too greedy with the finishes.
This is why damage scaling is important
your fighting him on level one, what do you expect...
@@thefoxmoonlight So? Kh2fm made it so that fights Don't take an eternity at lv1, and it was just fine there.
@@sebastianlucas704 that made the game way too easy, you should be playing with restrictions for a bad time, not a fun nonchalant walk in the park like KH2
@@thefoxmoonlight What? If you level up normaly, there will be little to no scaling involved. If you are lv1, most attacks will kill you in two hits. Almost every single attack by the super-bosses will one-shot you. That's not a walk in the park. Beat Cor3 lv1, then get back to me.

This boss felt like a filler before the Union Cross segment which was amazing.

Lol. The only reason I'm on this video is to find a strategy for this on my Lvl 1 crit playthrough..
I'm doing one worse. I'm using Kingdom Key only as well. No permanent stat boosting items (obviously, otherwise where's the point in the run?). Currently struggling with Terra-Xehanort and Vanitas, but I'm not about to look up a video to see the battle strategy because I want to learn and clear the fight myself.
Not much to say about this fight. Demon tide is demon tide. Although it bothers me how little the frame rate/enemies are present in the background. If they really wanted to bring in pure heartless, then where’s darkball, invisibles?
The Possesors and Dark servants as well. (And also those Dark Birds that Grim Guardianess regurgitates.)

In proud mode I beat it without links but in critical I took the easy way out and just used Ariel
I remember when I took out this boss a bit quick with Ultima Weapon, pre Critical mode patch, on Proud mode. Now with the challenge, I wonder if it will be ther same if Ultima was powered up all the way. Either way, im surprised how much damage that the counter shield trashes this guy when using the Wrathful Fists. Gonna grind to level that up when going against other bosses.
I'm doing this fight now with 13 pro codes. It's absolute bullshit. Not enough attack openings because this stupid a hole has like 45 second attack sequence. Always leaves the arena, ect. Total bs.

Dude you should’ve combined this boss fight with the union cross critical mode come on man
He said in a past video that the Union Cross part is more of an interactive cutscene that's near impossible not to take damage in. So he didn't want to lose the no-damage requirement because of something that's out of his control.
